One of the wilder conspiracies out there is that the human race is being enslaved by a master race of lizard aliens. It is surprising how long this belief system was been going on. Even today you can find websites and blogs purporting various celebrities to be lizard aliens in disguise. A little knowledge of its history suffices to dispel any fear that this is in any way based on reality.

Well, I don't have any interest in lizard alien conspiracies. However, being enslaved by lizard aliens doesn't compare to being enslaved by the conscious human ego. Not even the Christian's fantasy version of the "anti-Christ" can compare to the power of the human ego. That menial version would cower in fear at the site of the global conscious human ego.

Unfortunately, it is not that surprising.
People on the internet, a significant percentage, will prefer the interesting story to the likely scenario.

Even if the story is so absurd that my four-year old niece would have rolled her eyes at me if I would have tried it on her.
 
Iguana believe in lizard people, and will monitor the evidence as it arrives.

Yes, and a little more knowledge on you will quickly dispel many of the things you believe that are not based on reality. Funny how you draw a line between one fantasy and another as being credible or not.
 
Ok, I can't keep it in any longer, it was me. I started the lizard people conspiracy. There, I said it.
