well, doesn't it mean average? I think most Americans have nudity issues, gay marriage issues, swinging issues, see how so many things in their lives aren't fair, etc...

I've worked with a lot of those people. They far out-number my friends and me. Its average, its what most of my family is, what most of America is.

oh, i will take mediocrity to those thing anyday (excluding gay marriage - which is none of my business). I think the other things you mention signify a problem, usually emotional in nature.
