It's funny how black people are pissed off at white people for slavery, yet IIRC, it was their own fuckin black tribe leaders back in Africa back in the day that were the ones who sold them to whitey to begin with.

after they were sold?

if their tribes ahd the right to sell them,it mean they were owned by sum1 in africa too. but how were they treated in africa ,when all they remember is how hey were treated in america?

Your point is MOOT.

If I was owned by someone, the difference in how I was treated by various owners takes a back seat next the the fact that I'm a FUCKING SLAVE.

They wouldn't have ever become slaves here in the states to be mistreated by whitey if their original black owners hadn't sold them to begin with.
And...given that their original black owners 'better treatment' as you say, just how well do you think the treatment was if their original black owners were that willing to sell them to whitey to begin with?


I own my dogs and I treat them well. But I guarantee you that if I were ever forced to get rid of them, there is no way I'd let them go to an owner that I knew was going to mistreat them.

Everyone has some right to be pissed.
 
Everyone made money off the African slave trade, the North, the South, the British, Anglo-Saxons, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Jewish people, Muslims, some African tribes... therefore it's blatantly anti-semitic to single out the minority of Jewish people that were involved.

It's also blatantly racist for black people to put the sole blame on white people.
Not saying that whitey is totally blameless, but he isn't alone.
 
White people were mostly to blame. It was their capital, their guns and ships, their demand for the products that slavery produced.

Actually it was the chief of the tribes in Africa that sold off his own tribesmen to the Spanish that gave the chief trinkets and money for them. The Spanish then sold them to the highest bidder. It wasn't white people.

Well the tribes chief sold them to the Spanish first and that's who is actually to blame...their own chief! The chief didn't have to sell off the members of his tribe did he?

Um...Slaves were owned by Southern plantation owners. There weren't very many Jewish people in the South , especially at that time. So why are you only blaming the Jews?

I don't think you understand what Cosmic (and myself) were getting at.
We were trying to say that the white people, while deserving of plenty of the blame, weren't the only ones to blame and weren't even the originators of the slave trade. There wouldn't be any slaves from Africa to begin with if their own tribe's chief never sold them to begin with.

hi Mike

I know,but i wasnt talkin bout the blame in my first post,i was showing WHO actually bought slaves in america,and who could afford to have slaves.

not just white americans, few White people even owned slaves.slavery was a rich man's pursuit and slavery did not exist amongst the middle and working classes of White people.
