It is unlikely that any amount of alcohol is "good for health", and essentially the more alcohol you consume the worse the likely effects on your health. It is conceivable that an argument can be made for some positive health benefits for tiny amounts of alcohol, but what is positive for some aspect of health is likely to be a negative for some other aspect, in this case.

I can tell you that my great-great grandmothers' family favored a shot of rye whiskey every morning. I do not know if it was really healthy.

Why beer, alcohol was brewed in oak barrel?
Because when beer first became a thing that was the only sort of vessel they had. As time went on they switched to steel (MUCH better.) But some people remembered the flavor that the oak barrel imparted and wanted to keep that, so nowadays some beers are still conditioned in wooden barrels.
I thought westerners majority like drinking alcohol? At least beer.
Westerners also like bacon, Krispy Kreme donuts and Coke. None of them are good for you either.

25ml is the standard measure in the UK, representing one 10g unit of alcohol for a 40% spirit, which is what most of them are.

The best way to drink good Scotch whisky is with a little drop of water rather than ice, no more than 30% of the whisky.
