Sex has very little to do with affection. You're talking about lust, which attenuates very quickly after the sex is complete.
I feel tremendous affection for my friends and my dogs.
Lust and affection, combined, may turn into romantic love.
What ever you want to call it, after sex it makes a person more tolerant to each other and the closeness increases,?
I used to always be the most instinctively affectionate when my mate was cooking for me. If there was more of a romantic feeling, this subtle version of affection would seem to change gears, into a higher energy version of affection. I could feel the difference in my heart as though the electrical conduction had changed with eddies of current floating around the heart. After sex that was more for show since i would preferred sleep but would consciously do affection so my mate would get what she seemed to like. You need to plan ahead.
Whoo, not necessarily so. I hate to say it, but it is possible to have sex with a woman, if she is into it or not, and husband's who think there is nothing wrong with having a sex with a wife who is not aroused, are mistaken. She may never say no, but her body will. She will become frigid and silently hate sex with her husband.
On the other hand, when things are right, sex can lead to bonding or strengthening an existing bond. This makes sex without the commitment of marriage very risky. Perhaps the causal sex will mean nothing but a moment of pleasure to both. On the other hand, it can lead to bonding, and if only one person reacts this way, pain will follow. Fear of getting pregnant or of getting AIDS can also ruin things. Being bonded and wanting children, will certainly be an incentive for sexual activity that intensifies the joy.
The romance in is the thinking and expectations. What is wanted? Is this a quick fling or is there some kind of fantasy about being Celtic lovers, or about family and children? Sex in itself is not romantic. Sex that is taboo can be the most exciting. I love talking about sex, because it is so complex!

So again I will say most of the time I felt very affectionate to her .

I think you're just using the wrong word. You don't seem to really be talking about affection. Affection doesn't fluctuate so vastly, so quickly.
There are many words for the way humans feel about each other, especially when they're married or have any kind of intimate relationship. You need to decide what you're trying to ask, and ask it more clearly.
Use a thesaurus, it'll help you find the right one. At this point, I'm not quite sure what you're asking, and I don't think the other members do either.
Even your attempt to clarify fell flat. No one cares about their spouse less just because they finished having sex! You're just not finding the right words to express your question. Until you do, you won't get a satisfactory answer.

After. Sex is a bonding experience, lots of good hormones are released. The closeness after sex is just as important as the sex itself.
Perhaps its that you'd both wouldn't find anyone that could get along with you other than who you are with.

Oh, oh, if she is young and healthy, probably yes. However, let is us keep in mind, sex is a hormone driven behavior, and he too will be driven to have a fling if he is sexually satisfied. Also, if she has become fridge, an affair could revolve the problem and improve the marriage.
Pragmatically speaking, it might be better to promote prostitution, and to consider prostitution as a legitimate profession with training to protect everyone's health, requiring a license just was hair stylist and physical therapist must be licensed and are treated with respect. Girl you hit right on the nail I think this country should legalize prostitution, I believe , it would reduce divorces, and rapes. and health and sanitation could be controlled.
Why then marry? If all many men want is sex what is to prevent them from just using the prostitute at their whims. Seems that men wouldn't also be able to tell what women's line of work was if those women were involved in prostitution and never let men know. How then would men be able to find a mate if the women make a living as prostitutes? I'd feel rather odd letting my wife go to work as a prostitute if I were married.
