I'm not sure whether we have directly polled our membership about this before.

It would be interesting to get an idea of where we all stand on religion. Recently, for example, a claim was made that the people here are "primarily atheists". Let's see if that's true.

Note: the number of poll options is limited by the software here. I would have liked to have expanded the list, but was unable to do that. Please feel free to expand on your own belief system in more detail - and please record your affiliation if you select the "Other religion" or "Believe in a God, but beliefs don't closely match any religion" option.

define my version of something
so you understand it
when your own perception is probably already aligned to something
so i am translating something that you don't comprehend, into something that you can only comprehend once it is passed through filters of perceptive force.

but you want a single word answer
(how do you explain something that someone else doesn't want to understand?[billion dollar question])

Christianity, although my actual beliefs are closer to Unitarian Universalists. (Those are the services we go to most often.)

It already has that: it's called the Earth.

I believe the YHWH of infinite time, beings, and space, and passive Jesus. I take beliefs from all religions. I believe God is LOVE itself. I believe in life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Imo all beings have a unique nature, and it's my job to assess the nature of any willing being. I believe Lucifer is the angel of knowledge, and St. Michale is the angel of faith. I teach the dharma, specifically a teaching I created call the Lamb of God that teaches Jesus is a living thing called pacifism that results in non-violent happiness and safety, and the emptiness of our world is actually passive Jesus and He is omnipresent. I believe the world we live in is some sort of individual ultra rare singular event that ruined the inertia of the perfection of all time, but it's not a threat to God omnipotence, as He allowed this world to exist in order to host a great marriage, thus creating fate, and a symmetrical before and after in which alpha never began, and omega never ends. As the world we live in is formless, for this world to be successful we must risk our perfection, and then you are liberated.

I’ve always been interested in world religions in general, and have also been an atheist for a time. I’ve been following the teachings of Jesus for the past couple of years. Sufism, the mystical side of Islam, as well as the Baha’i belief system, are also intriguing. I don’t belong to a church right now or “denomination,” but mistakenly clicked the wrong poll choice.:rolleye: I’m finding greater comfort in steering away from formalized, organized religions at the moment.
