What is an affine space?

It would seem that arfa brane's personal antipathy to me has blinded him to the fact that the stack exchange explanation of an affine transformation that he so admiringly quotes is simply a less precise version of the definition I gave in my first post in this thread.

Of course, this blindness may have another explanation.........

It would also seem that you think the "less precise" version says what you said. But that's because you're blind.
