What are your prices?

Maybe, I won't argue, I usually buy cappuccino, and then very rarely, because I'm allergic to coffee. I used to be able to drink a lot of it, and once I was taken away in an ambulance because I drank too much strong coffee and my heart rhythm was out of whack. Now I can only drink a small cup when I'm driving somewhere for a long time, and I start to fall asleep.
C'mon, Olga! You're allergic to coffee and can only drink a small portion without dying, but you've got strong opinions about the quality of coffee such a machine can produce?

But, yeah, there was time when I could easily consume 20 to 30 cups a day, but now, beyond 2 or 3 in day and I get a migraine. Also, I can only drink espresso nowadays--anything produced via slow-brewing methods, i.e., press coffee, drip coffee through a filter, etc., makes me sick almost instantly. In my case, the tannins in coffee beans are the culprit, but with you I would suspect it's the caffeine. Caffeine is a pretty powerful drug and it seems a lot of people have sensitivities to it, yet in the US anyone can buy these "supplements" which contain the amount of caffeine present in multiple cups of coffee. To my knowledge, the packaging for these "supplements" aren't required to carry warnings of any sort, yet a fair number of people die from caffeine overdoses regularly.

Tannins can really mess with the gut. I had to dial my coffee/tea to nearly zero, partly from tannins and partly from caffeine. We use a French press, which yields a decent cup, and has the benefit of no plastic parts in contact with the brew.

A gentler high is theobromine, which is in chocolate.

I'm going to tell you something that no one else will tell you. The official salary in Russia has never been the main source of income for most workers. Since the tsarist times, we have had the custom of "feeding from where you stand", there was such a concept, and during the USSR it only became stronger. These are the so-called "moonlighting". I'll explain what it is. Let's say you work at a factory, turning some bearings. Your official salary is 85,000 rubles. And half the day you turn bearings for the factory, and the other half of the day you turn bearings that go "left", i.e. past the factory gate. Everyone gets a share of this: the shop foremen, the security guards, the director. Only the owners of the enterprises receive less profit. And this is everywhere. They steal in the fields, they steal at factories, at plants, at construction sites, in canteens, everywhere where they can and cannot. There's a Soviet joke: a guy got a job at a factory that supposedly produces bicycles, and complains to a friend: "I don't understand what the hell is going on - I brought some spare parts from work, I wanted to assemble a bicycle at home, but no matter how hard I try, for some reason it still turns out to be an automatic."
You look and think - how little a nurse earns, only 3,000 rubles per shift. But this same nurse takes at least 500 rubles per injection from patients, and gives dozens of them per day. And everyone pays if they don't want a needle to accidentally end up in your ass. These unofficial incomes are called "moonlighting", and they have never been included in any official statistics.
Hee Hee ! The "skim" !
Geez, we knew about that a while ago. That's the old Soviet Union I knew and loved !

In Canada and Europe it's just as expensive as here, even though there was no bird flu there. And everything is expensive.
That's on you guys. Well - your guy. (You did vote for him, right ?)

Certain commodity prices rose dramatically after the invasion of Ukraine. That increased inflation overall and exacerbated all the issues brought on by the Covid pandemic.

Hee ! Probably should avoid slang terms for translations sake - if that's what you're referring to. I can dig it is somewhat outdated slang for I understand.
Я не употребляла сленга. А что это означает на вашем сленге?

Now if I eat more than two tangerines at a time, my blood vessels burst
Again, I wonder if this translator is doing its job. If your blood vessels are actually bursting, I would say steer clear of tangerines entirely.

Well, my dad had a citrus allergy. His throat got sore when he had orange juice. I wasn't aware bursting blood vessels was a symptom. Bursting, in English, usually means extremely high pressure causes something to rupture.

Well, that is a terrible allergy. I inherited maybe a little of my dad's problem with oranges so I know it's annoying when you can't eat a food you really like. And I really liked oranges.

Да, Теват, это настояшая несчастная любовь. В моём случае это любовь к цитрусовым. Но я всё равно ем, а потом пью таблетки, чтобы хоть немного легче было.
