If we start a thread, and no one refutes it successfully for 24 hours, it should be allowed to be referenced in other arguments, with some kind of mod-added note of success.

You've only been here a few months and have already started about 175 mostly useless threads. Don't you think you've monopolized the forum as it is, creating stupid threads that push others down?

You don't need a reward, you need a slap upside the head.

How would you suggest this be implemented? I also like your idea of the theism vs atheism subforum btw.

Do you have any more interesting suggestions to make the forums more welcoming for a wider variety of people? :)

Q-You are always so enlightening in your opinions. Thank you.

JDawg-When I lose, sure. When I don't.... muhuhahahaha :D

SAM-Perhaps a locked thread of successful suppositions. A special post would be made by the successful arguer(sp?) summarizing their position. A mod only smilie, such as a star or something, would be placed at the end, to denote that it has been upheld. It would then be available for formal debate, or to prevent rehashing the same material over and over.

theism v atheism-I thought Simon Anders suggested that one? It is a good idea, but would that fall under religion, philosophy, or comparative religion?
