Thor, Im going to England for vacation sometime within the next 5 years. And I would really like to meet you, so that I can smack the crap out of you.

This sounds awesome. I wonder if his translation will be better than Seamus Heaney's, which was incredible.
I'll definitely be one of the first with that book. I can't wait to read it, I don't doubt that it will be incredible...the glorious milk of Beowulf's writer(s) is hard to sour. Too bad it's in Old English...

By the way Thor, they might just have someone other than Pete Jackson make Beowulf, if they ever do make it. That reduces the chances of the movie being incredibly awesome beyond what we can possibly manage, but then again anything lower than that might satisfy YOU.

Thor, I heft around 1,200 LB book everyday, Im way bigger then you are. Also, the already made a Beowulf movie. It has Christopher Lambert in it...
