i've noticed a new feature called add a infraction to <poster name>
what is this?
what does it do?
 
ive no fucking idea but i was allowed to access the moderator forum for about 15 minutes yesterday, some crazy shit going on around here
 
I accidentally clicked 'give infraction' button for Lightgigantic. Hope there is no infraction added. So i tried to give infraction to some of the moderators but it is not allowed. How can i give infraction to myself??

Hi!

All Registered Senior users are now able to give infractions to other users that made some rule violation.

You have explanation beside each infraction and amount of points which will user receive.

When reached 20 points user will be automatically transferred into Pre-ban group and will be suspended for next three days, without ability to post and reply to the threads and posts.

Any further infractions carry more points and different banning period.

Any infraction abuse, i.e. where was no violation and infraction has been made in purpose to harm another user, will be punished – user who made infraction abuse will be immediately banned.

But that is not fair. No user, other than mods should be able to give infraction to other users. 10 nuts give infractions to a non-nut to have 20 infractions and the poor guy is on his/her way out. Those 10 nuts get banned and may come back with other names.

Moderators can reverse unnecessary infractions and ban abusers.
