Uploading images

Yep, saw that. Title text on it is even "Insert image".
But it gives me a pop up with one input box. The grey text in the box is "http://".
That implies it wants a link to an image hosted somewhere.
I was hoping "Uploading images" would mean there's a [Browse] button or something somewhere to literally upload from my own PC to the site.
Do you also not get "drops image here?"

Specifically "Drop image(or click here)" then it should take you to your folders.
Tip, compress the image, SF is sensitive to "large" images.

Nope.
I wonder if it's a limitation on newer users to stop people uploading spam to the forum, until "trusted"?

I just get:
fetch

I see my pop-up only has one of the icons yours has, you get the link and the up arrow thing.

(To post that I uploaded a pic to another forum I'm a member of, that allows a very small total size of images to be uploaded to a profile.
Then linked that by URL.
To do that I had to first delete pictures of my motorcycle - gasp!)

Try a different browser, maybe? Something is rendering it differently than what everyone else is seeing. Especially odd if you've using a PC rather than a "device".

You can, by the way, paste images directly into the edit window.

All my edit and upload options have become greyed out.
Check whether you have toggled BB code off. (i.e. click on the three dos on the right-hand side of the editor window, then check the [ ] icon. Turning BB code on enables all the usual editor options.

Ok I have found a work around for uploading my images. Take a screen grab of the original image and save that in my photos, that brings the size down.

Do you have an image editor like Photoshop or GIMP? Anything that can open and save a jpg will be able to compress an image.
