Rather than complaining, you could have simply proven him wrong. As it is, you've just corroborated his (valid) criticism. It's in the rules, and you know it.

So count your blessings. He could have infracted you for a rule violation you have been warned about and infracted for multiple times.

You assume James R's behavior is obnoxious, but do you ever stop to consider whether you own behaviour is the wellspring of obnoxia? You could have avoided this latest tete-a-tete is if you had simply followed the rules as you are aware of them.

You come with unclean hands; you cannot then complain you are not getting justice.

I'm not here to counter insults. I just posted a link to an interesting study on the topic at hand. Everybody does that here. There is nothing in the rules against it.

You wouldn't have had to. If you had simply followed the rules in the initiating post 9257, there would have been nothing to criticize you for. You have been justly (and accurately) criticized for not following rules that you know perfectly well.

Yes there is and you know it perfectly well - and not only because you've been infracted for it.

Instead of learning, you double-down on behavior that you been explicitly warned and infracted about, and now pretend you don't.

And so, justifiably, reported as trolling.

Even though it was highly improbable that any gold would be found at the end of the Grusch rainbow, it looks like that pursuit won't even be attempted. Despite the token yata-yata from the IG, it smells dead in the water for all intents and purposes.

(Sep 20) Intelligence community has not investigated alleged UFO programs
    https://www.newsnationnow.com/space/ufo/intelligence-community-not-investigated-ufo-programs/

EXCERPTS: The Office of the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community said in a letter that it has not conducted an audit of any alleged UAP retrieval programs run by the U.S. government.

[...] The committee held a public hearing on the issue, but Grusch was unable answer a number of questions or name individuals connected to the alleged program in an unclassified setting. Grusch told the committee that he had provided that information to the IG office of the Intelligence Community as part of his whistleblower complaint.

Burchett requested the office provide the information on individuals, facilities, bases or other intelligence resources connected with any UAP retrieval programs or reverse engineering technology from UAPs.

In the letter, the office reiterated its commitment to providing whistleblowers with the protection afforded to them by law as well as a commitment to supporting congressional oversight.

However, the office did not provide the information Burchett requested. [...] Burchett, who posted the letter on X, formerly known as Twitter, called the letter a “cover-up.” (MORE - missing details)

I must be behind on my reading. Was the intel comm supposed to be investigating UFO programs?

Meanwhile, the Mexican version of "ET tell and show" did reach the stage of "bodies" being presented to legislators.

While Mexico’s Congress was presented with testimony claiming that aliens were real, there was no official government confirmation at the hearing or since. Some experts have also cast doubt on the validity of the evidence presented at the hearing.

(Sep 13) Researcher shows bodies of purported "non-human" beings to Mexican congress at UFO hearing
    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/mexico...purported-non-human-being-bodies-to-congress/

INTRO: A journalist and researcher on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), or UFOs as they're better known, presented the remains of purported "non-human" beings to lawmakers in Mexico on Tuesday during the country's first public congressional hearing on the topic.

Jamie Maussan brought two boxes containing what he said were the small, stuffed bodies of extraterrestrials recovered in Peru in 2017. He said carbon-14 dating carried out by the National Autonomous University of Mexico had determined the remains were 700 and 1,800 years old. Each of the figures has only three fingers on each hand and elongated heads, resembling, at least superficially, the Hollywood-born character ET... (MORE - details)

(Sep 13) Mexican senate hears testimony on extraterrestrial life: ‘We are not alone’
    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/sep/13/mexican-senate-hearing-ufos

INTRO: Mexican senators have heard testimony that “we are not alone” in the universe and been presented with the alleged remains of “non-human” mummies, in the country’s first official event on extraterrestrial life.

At a senate hearing on Tuesday, lawmakers were shown two shriveled bodies with shrunken heads – alongside video footage of “unexplained anomalous phenomena” – by Jaime Maussan, a sports journalist turned UFO enthusiast.

Maussan said the remains were more than 1,000 years old and belonged to “non-human beings that are not part of our terrestrial evolution”.

“It’s the queen of all evidence,” Maussan claimed. “That is, if the DNA is showing us that they are non-human beings and that there is nothing that looks like this in the world, we should take it as such.” (MORE - details)

Am I right that he admitted his DNA samples did not, actually, come from the remains being shown, but from a different source, one not in evidence?

Possibly irrelevant either way. As his Wikipedia entry reveals, Maussan has a crackpot history. If he was the primary source or stimulus for such, it's amazing this ever got a government hearing.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol releases 10 videos and 387 pages of eyewitness accounts and reports of uaps. No context given in the "Aguadilla video" which has already been posted and discussed in this thread. Possibilities of explanations? Birds, Mick's exotic balloons (again?), drones, or conventional aircraft seen at an odd angle. "Chris Mellon, a former Secretary of Defense for Intelligence official, said the videos will help the public better understand why this is a national security issue."

    CBP video #10:

Bright blob in IR bobs slowly kind of like a balloon or Chinese lantern past their camera in near distance above road and next to customs buildings for about a minute. No anomalous behavior.

    CBP video #2.2:

Skip to 5:45. Funny-shaped bright bogey makes a beeline across desert background for about 10 minutes as camera pans to keep it on screen. (Is that a single continuous shot? It must be hugely zoomed.)

The changing shape could be something to do with it having trouble with its cloaking or teleportation ?
Not a lot of people know that.

It is interesting. Would have been hard to explain pre-drone era...

I'd say it is the plane that is surveilling the UAP.

That's an A-10 Warthog, which has a stall speed of 140mph. (The UAP could easily have been going slower than that.)

Even if the UAP started off in front, the jet appears to have overtaken it. The jet is turning toward us; it could be trying to keep the UAP in sight even as the UAP falls behind.

All that being said, drone is a pretty good fit. Size and speed are well within parameters.
Certainly location/context (customs/border) would be a place we would plausibly find a drone (they are used for smuggling), and a jet being scrambled to check it out.

How fast? Can you tell? I can't.

You know how fast it isn't going? Mach 2.

My hypothesis was drone, but OK, the stabilized video imagery makes a pretty strong case for bird.

    Did you watch the clip?

    https://www.metabunk.org/data/video/45/45239-53703610f00efcd852bef2be8bcdbf56.mp4

(You know... for someone who has historically complained at how UFO theorists have been mocked for their ideas, mocking sure does come pretty easy to you.
You can't have it both ways.)

Image stabilization. All it does it keep the target centred in the frame from frame to frame, which shows more fine details than we can pick up in the chaos of camera movement.

Did you follow the link and watch the clip?
