"Moscow is planning to build a futuristic looking “flying saucer” shaped building named “Galaktika” (Galaxy) at Moscow's south west area. This 60 meters high, 213,000 sq. m. building will also sport a luxury hotel, a shopping mall, helicopter landing pads and a large parking space allowing for 2,500 cars. The construction of this structure is set to begin at the end of the year and is expected to be completed by 2010."

I've done a search on this thing, but I've not found too much info on it. I really don't know if it ever happened?

.

Aii, it looks ugly, the idea is great, he can park he's car their, :p
but, where's the stairs?

I use to live near a saucer shape home. It was pretty cool. It looked like the "Lost In Space" saucer. It had its own lighted landing pad...made of aluminum.

People used to think I was joking when I told them make a left at the flying saucer...though I never saw it fly :)

Finnish architect Matti Suuronen designed this UFO shaped dwelling in 1968, initially for use as a ski-cabin or holiday home. The idea behind the design reflects the optimism of the 1960s. At the time, people believed technology could solve all problems for the human race. The ideal was of a new era, a space-age, where everybody would have more leisure time to spend on holidays away from home. The Future house was completely furnished and could accommodate 8 people.
