That's the frustrating thing about RFK: he actually did some solid work as an environmental lawyer--and he did rescue a sea turtle on camera once, which he apparently no longer gives a shit about. And, setting aside the vaccine bs, he had reasonable concerns about UPFs and the like. I don't know about that seed oil thing, but I kinda thought that deep-frying in general ain't all that great; regardless, I'm sticking with olive oil and sunflower oil as my primary cooking oils.At leas
It's actually a good discussion.
He is an anti vaxer? Just going off the discussion. If he is? All bets off. EDIT and an anti science nut job. Thanks parmaleeThat's the frustrating thing about RFK: he actually did some solid work as an environmental lawyer--and he did rescue a sea turtle on camera once, which he apparently no longer gives a shit about. And I don't know what his problem with pommes frites in Belgium is. The ones I've had--a lot actually--were always great. French fries/chips/pommes frites is always a sensitive subject though. There's this show with Sterling K Brown that's set in an underground city, post-apocalypse, and the diner supposedly has the best fries in the freakin world--and they were crinkle cut fries! There is simply no fucking way that crinkle cut fries are anyone's idea of the best fries in the world.
RFK is one of the OG anti-vaxxers--and he always lies about it, and claims that he's not. For him, it was originally that whole thimerisol thing causing autism that started it and then he branched out.He is an anti vaxer? Just going off the discussion. If he is all bets off.
His speech has no bearing on anything though.
Ok, I don't know these guys. I will look into him.RFK is one of the OG anti-vaxxers--and he always lies about it, and claims that he's not. For him, it was originally that whole thimerisol thing causing autism that started it and then he branched out.
Even UPFs--ultra processed foods--are somewhat complicated. Many, perhaps most, aren't great; but one really has to consider it on a case by case basis--I don't think it's really all that bad to inject vitamins into corn flakes, but doing so makes them a UPF.This was an article in The Grauniad about the whole seed-oil thing:

Robert F Kennedy Jr claims seed oils are ‘poisoning’ us. Here’s why he’s wrong
Like a host of online influencers, the man likely to be the US’s next health secretary has denounced the vegetable oils used in countless foods. The science is not on their sidewww.theguardian.com
I saw a similar one in the Agu Drain. This was an article in The Grauniad
А в России Теслу вообще никто всерьёз не воспринимает. Над ней только прикалываются в роликах. Не прижилась даже у наших олигархов.Shocking news: UK sales of Tesla have actually gone up over the past month.![]()

Well, to go in to parmalee mode...If that question is coming from a presumably semi-intelligent adult (Trump, Musk, the GOP, certain posters here), that person doesn't need a sincere response, i.e., "conversation", that person needs a bullet in their skull--and that is not hyperbole...
...That probably sounds heavy-handed, or a bit much, to some. To them I say, Seriously?
Did I dispute that? Nope. Can you read? (Nope, clearly.) The issue is that you are seemingly incapable of distinguishing probability from actuality, and that you seemingly object to this hypothesis: A rape advocate is far more likely to be a rapist than someone who is not a rape advocate. That's seriously creepy.Parmalee
You did recommend a bullet in the skull and you quified it with the following..
"That probably sounds heavy-handed, or a bit much, to some. To them I say, Seriously? "
And, to make it clear, you were saying that about "certain posters here" too
My bold
When you get to the point where you are actively advocating murder for people who you argue with (and who disagree with you) - you've lost any pretense to rationality.Did I dispute that? Nope. Can you read? (Nope, clearly.)
Stop trying to wiggle out of it.Did I dispute that? Nope. Can you read? (Nope, clearly.) Also you're spamming the forum with your idiocy.
Again though, I'm sure that rapists will appreciate your valiant defense of them.
The difference, though, (and whisper this very quietly), is that Teslas are actually quite good cars. Unlike Ratner's jewellery which really was crap.I think Muskie has “Ratnered” his brand![]()
That's not what this is about though--See the JK Rowling thread. This guy can't read (and he's spamming the forum). When you get to the point where you are actively advocating murder for people who you argue with (and who disagree with you) - you've lost any pretense to rationality.
OH my fucking god. Aren't you the guy who couldn't even figure out how to change the settings on your own freakin computer?Stop trying to wiggle out of it.
Parmalee mode on: go kill youself. Parmalee mode off
They are - apart from the ridiculous Swastitrerk, which seems to be a turkey. The difference, though, (and whisper this very quietly), is that Teslas are actually quite good cars. Unlike Ratner's jewellery which really was crap.![]()
This is just weird. Clearly, I stand by what I said--I'm not allowed to say it again, though, because I'll get another infraction.Stop trying to wiggle out of it.
