it will grow. Seeds germinate in darkness. However it will not fully grow...it will stop.

Orleander if you dont believe us, find some seeds from a fir tree put them in soil, make sure they get plenty of oxygen, water, and cover them in darkness. And see for yourself.

    Trees are evil.

    They emit methane.

    To paraphrase the song:

They're out to destroy you, they will cut you down !

I seen it, so help me.

You see this...this is the sort of things that makes American women different from other women of Earth. American women are willing to conduct evil experiments on their own kids. This is how far American women have sank...I say no more.

Somebody's got to advance the cause of human knowledge.

It's like I always say - you can't make a Bomblet withour breaking a few legs.

advance it on cockroaches, that human knowledge, not on precious innocent cuddly young poor children who are left to be devoured by American culture.

I think chlorophyll expression is turned on or off due to exposure from sunlight. A mutant deficit in control of chlorophyll expression would presumably express even in sunless conditions.

    But I too am skeptical.

I can't be bothered to click the link but, Orleander, it would be possible.

'Growing' is a fairly inexact term. A lot of seed varieties just need warm and moist conditions in which to germinate - regardless of light levels.
