To the moron who writes in color

Maybe my computer was specifically made for blind people?

For me it's easier to type something I am thinking than copying someone else's text. You get what I mean?

TTS stands for text-to-speech. It's a system that converts normal text into speech.

I mean, I'm presumably blind thus I'm unable to read your comments with my eyes, but I still can hear, and thanks to TTS I can. :p

thanks to TTS...but were you using TTS in the first place? :rolleyes: Because it seems to me you have been just "blinded" by my colorful text and thus are blind and cannot go and find yourself a TTS program online, in which case you have not become blind and are just doooping me around. :cool:

You sure are trying to make my "just recently" blind life harder. :(
Who knows? Maybe I've had such a plugin installed even before I grew blind just to be safe when the time comes?

What's this link....it has so many numbers and letters, it scares me.
 
Trying to type blindly, eh. Here goes:

I find that I have to stype really slowly in rder to ensure I don't hit the wrong keys.

*Opens eyes..*
Holy shit, Only two spelling errors.
*tries again*.

The moment you shift your hand from the main keys you kinda lose track of thwere f and j went, also using backspcae and not being able to edit as you go is a bitch.

That wasn't too bad..
 
Phew, I was almost worried that you might end up lynching me for...having turned blind over coloured text. Still, it's so mean of you to deny the possibility that I may have turned blind from it! I can still literally feel my eyes burning. It hurt so much. I'll sue you for having destroyed my eyesight with your coloured post! You destroyed my life. Jerk.

I think maybe the play on words is intended to go something like this:

A red rose absorbs, therefore "consumes" all the colors of the rainbow except red, therefore it is "made out of" all the colors except red, therefore it is not red because it does not "contain" red.

Is that the right track, Tiassa?
 
Funny thread I got here.

First, I just gave a honest and simple feedback to the dude. If I am nice, the point is usually doesn't get accross. It seems lots of people agreed with me, that's why I didn't send a PM.
Second, all "is black a color" discussion belongs to Linguistics. I simply wanted a short title, end of story.
Third, I could post in French (not really, but stay with me) and probably 5 posters could read it. One artifically limiting his readership because of fascination with colors is MORONIC.
Fourth, there is really no fourth. feedback was provided, poster should learn from it and decide if he takes a good advice or not.

Now time to close the thread....
