More Occam's Razor FTL, yes these types of batteries are used in electronics, but a frequency generator that comes from a microchip that has an embedded crystal does not require power. This would be required for a frequency generator that does not come from a microchip.

No, even embedded crystals require power to operate. They're not perpetual motion machines.

Occam's Razor - when your two choices are a perpetual motion machine and a battery, the answer is "a battery."

Then this would be another example of the continued failures of Occam's Razor. This has been a known mystery among the electronics community for a long time. I first heard about this in 2001. I think they are just trying to steal the credit for doing something that has already been invented. Obtaining credit for something of this nature would be a difficult thing to achieve, an engineer would never be able to. So then they need a physicist to write out the math of why it works so then he can steal the credit for it, and then claim that we have this technology because of a physicist.

If I end up finding one I will let you know, although I don't think it will matter much in your case. I would bet that intel and AMD uses them if not them then just some company that manufactures frequency generator microchips.

Using a pendulum in this way uses the same priciple as a ouija board or dowsing rods. Kinda fun but not majic.

When a crystal of quartz is properly cut and mounted, it can be made to distort in an electric field by applying a voltage to an electrode near or on the crystal.

This is just talking about converting the energy to the electromagnetic field. That was most likely hacked to be forced to say that it is the electric field

It doesn't not require power to oscillate.

By applying a voltage. From a capacitor or battery. Or does it just magically appear?

Your knowledge of both physics and electrical engineering seems to be non-existent, limited to what you read and forgot back in the sixties.

If it is used in this way it is just to convert mechanical energy into the "electric field" (since you have not found out about the similarities between light and electricity that where joined into one single theory). The energy comes from the ground state or the natural state. I think it would require a voltage already coming from the crystal oscillator, so it would just would have had to have had power at one period of time, like in my post #33 that describes this.

The opposite actually. The electric field is converted to mechanical energy. The process is lossy, so the resonance dies away quickly unless the external field is maintained.

You clearly don't know much about the physics side of electronics. It might help you to read the entire Wikipedia article rather than just the first few lines.

Putting crystals and the original topic thread aside, the following was my latest thoughts regarding time;

Time of Two Types--metaphysical concepts/mind/intellignce and physical/energy/events

Past( causal actions )-> - Present( eternal NOW ) - [U-> ]Future( resultant effects )[/U]

Past composed of finite set of event/phenomena( frequency/vibration ) within a given conceptual, finite time line/frame/period

Present( eternal NOW ) --conceptual ergo non-dimensional( ergo zero-0 ) or conceptual dimension

Future( resultant effects ) -- composed of a finite set of events/phenomena( frequency/vibration ) within a given conceptual, finite time line/frame/period.

As I recall, Brian Green in his book " The Elegant Universe" he expressed time as a finite whole, 3D universe, that has been sliced into 2D frames kinda of like freezing framing time of a 3D universe into several 2D sliced frames over time i.e. in sequence, so that each 2D time-frame is a cross section of the finite whole Universe as an eternal NOW place.

The eternal NOW has no dimension ergo non-spatial.

This kind of goes along with ideas of a critical limit where a mass/object/thing is either falling into one system and out of another of vice versa-- ex moon is falling into Earths gravitational field or out of it, overall. The sun has comets in elongated eliptical orbits but overall, that comet is gradually moving away from being trapped by the sol or fall into the sun, not interred with by any objects.

Another way of saying this, is that all vectors of Universe are a trajectory that has some amount of arc/curve in them. Over short enough distances it may become more difficult to ever discern such arc/curve of any trajectory, yet it can be no other way because again, there is no eternally existent equilibrous place between falling into or out of some system, overall.

Be clear here, in the short time period the moon can be further or closer to Earth just a comet can be closer or further from the sun but overall, unfettered by any other objects, is falling in or out of a system

The only other option is the the trajectory oscillates between both systems ergo a zig-zag, but even then there eventual has to bean overall falling into one left or right system. imho

The critical limit is the equlibrium which we never have for any individual phenomena of Universe nor Universe in whole. imho

Equlibrium means no motion, ergo eternal NOW or eternally between left or right ergo no arc/curve trajectory, no charge, no temperature, no color, no mass etc...i.e. Universe and all of its part eternally exist becuase of being disequilbrious oscillations between left-righ, in-out, expand-contract, pos-neg charge etc........

Anyway, this time crystals thing sounds similar to ZPE. Have the experimental results come out yet?
