Yes the suicide bombing part does put somewhat of a downer on the whole thing.

That was just indicating support for Hamas though, at a Palestine protest march, in London, nothing to do with suicide bombing. But yeah, we can all get a bit twitchy when there has been a bomb attack.

There were some very funny Eye cartoons in the aftermath of the London bombings, depicting an imaginary school for suicide bombers. In one there was an instructor wearing an explosive belt and holding the string, saying: "Now watch carefully because I'm only going to do this once". And there was another showing a bunch of teenagers saying to one another: "What do you want to be when you blow up?"

This is not why I dislike Islam and I do. Suicide bombing probably puts a lot of people off the religion but that was not my trigger.

Just noticed the composer who wrote The Skater's Waltz is named Waldteufel. Which means forest devil. Seems like an unusual sort of surname. Maybe devil had some other slang meaning in describing an occupation? This seems more probable than that his ancestors were demonic beings who resided in wooded areas.

Though there is something a little demonic about the way that waltz can get stuck in my head.
