Think I may need to go to a massage therapist today. I pulled my right hamstring muscle while cheering on my mighty Roosters as they demolished the Dragons 62-16

Just wondering what really happened at Denver Intl last night. Sounds like some unusual form of suicide. Also unclear how a jet hitting a person would cause an engine to explode into flames unless, well, you know. News report seems to be delicately tiptoeing around that detail. I was trying not to flash onto that horrific scene in the pilot episode of "Lost." But since I have, I wonder how they would identify the deceased if they were indeed sucked into the engine - they would have to find some unburnt tissue and then find DNA on file, I guess. Or match other physical traces to a missing person report.

More important to air travel would be the question of this type of suicide leading to copycat incidents. Perimeter security would clearly need some bolstering.

Looks like some parts of the person was drawn into the turbofan, with what one airport staff radio communication described as limbs found on the tarmac. One video blurred out the turbofan intake, making clear that the deceased had some remains there. ME hasn't determined identity yet. Watching a snip of IR cam video, I wonder if it was a suicidal act or just a trespasser misjudging the speed of the jet and their window for crossing the runway.

Oh well, at least they can get some DNA and perhaps identify the person. I suspect drugs may be involved. It seems too contrived for a regular suicide.

Dude. You don't misjudge breaking security and getting on the runway.
Issues are, how did he get in that position? If he was a hostile? Intended to blow the plane up, how did he evade their security measures?

I wasn't saying that. I meant someone with some bad intent deeper into the airport could still not fully realize how fast planes move on a runway and get hit as they crossed it. It's already established there was lapsed perimeter security, and even at best it takes security a good while to get out that far if there's a breach. Doubt it was anyone trying to blow up that plane, given that would be a sabotage operation done before the flight, for any chance of "success."
