Looks like some parts of the person was drawn into the turbofan, with what one airport staff radio communication described as limbs found on the tarmac. One video blurred out the turbofan intake, making clear that the deceased had some remains there. ME hasn't determined identity yet. Watching a snip of IR cam video, I wonder if it was a suicidal act or just a trespasser misjudging the speed of the jet and their window for crossing the runway.Just wondering what really happened at Denver Intl last night
Oh well, at least they can get some DNA and perhaps identify the person. I suspect drugs may be involved. It seems too contrived for a regular suicide.Looks like some parts of the person was drawn into the turbofan, with what one airport staff radio communication described as limbs found on the tarmac. Dude. You don't misjudge breaking security and getting on the runway.or just a trespasser misjudging the speed of the jet
I wasn't saying that. I meant someone with some bad intent deeper into the airport could still not fully realize how fast planes move on a runway and get hit as they crossed it. It's already established there was lapsed perimeter security, and even at best it takes security a good while to get out that far if there's a breach. Doubt it was anyone trying to blow up that plane, given that would be a sabotage operation done before the flight, for any chance of "success."Dude. Issues are, how did he get in that position? If he was a hostile? Intended to blow the plane up, how did he evade their security measures?
