The Post Whatever Thread

Stop it wegs, you’re reminding me of Magical Realist:eek:
Because I want to put a camera in my birdfeeder? :?

I think MR believed in Bigfoot, can't recall...I don't and was saying that Bigfoot would be easily detected with surveillance cameras everywhere if it existed, which occurred to me when I thought of getting a camera for my birdfeeder. ;)

Oh he "believed" in anything like that, on principle.

I quite agree that the lack of photographic evidence for Bigfoot should really rule it out........... to anyone sensible................

If the camera on my bird feeder picks up any footage of Bigfoot however, I’ll be sure to share it. lol!

"We've seen no evidence of it." is very different from "It doesn't exist because we've never gotten any pictures of it."

I am not prepared to say it doesn't exist. (Made that mistake with black swans and Coelocanth!)

Black swans? They were discovered by Europeans in Australia 200 years ago.

So, I have a bird feeder and want to attach a small camera inside of it or somewhere near it to capture the amazing gathering of these beautiful feathered friends. Anyone ever try this and what type of camera? I was going to buy a bird feeder with a camera installed already, but changed my mind. I don’t want a Ring camera or that type of quality.

TIA for your ideas.
Great idea, it is how they make those amazing wild life programs.
Consider light, I suppose the infra red cameras are expensive?

That’s one of those ballocksy cliches that doesn’t bear examination, since actually it often is evidence of absence. What it is not is proof of absence.
You said quote: "the lack of photographic evidence for Bigfoot should really rule it out........... to anyone sensible.........."

That sounds conclusive to me.

And we cannot a priori know the difference between 'evidence and 'proof'.

Before they found black swans, everybody thought all swans were white.

Before they found live Coelocanth, everybody assumed they were long extinct.

That we haven't found Bigfoot doesn't mean he won't walk into a hitching post tomorrow.

I mean, I wouldn't bet money on it...
There’s a continuum of likelihood though. Real life almost never delivers mathematical proof. The evidence of absence of leprechauns is pretty compelling.

Yea, I'm only concerned with footage of the birdfeeder during the day, for the brightest and best lighting. I'll share the camera choice on here when I buy it. :)

У моего соседа стоит такая камера на солнечных батареях. Стоит 40$.

Together they are Pretty Cure: Nagisa (Cure Black) and Honoka (Cure White).

It's just one of those thoughts that you wouldn't bother with except something brings it to mind. A plot detail gave reason to think about passing time, and, yeah, Misumi Nagisa and Yukishiro Honoka, are now thirty-five years old.

School days: Nagisa (Cure Black) and Honoka (Cure White) lead classmates across the stage.

… and, yeah, Misumi Nagisa and Yukishiro Honoka, are now thirty-five years old.

I got all the way to noon, today, before needing to revisit that post.

Turns out, right-wing celebrity Laura Loomer is only thirty-two. That is to say, the woman suing Bill Maher over the widely-circulated rumor that she was having an affair with Donald Trump is younger than the Pretty Cure.
