When my doctor was trying to find pain relief for me she prescribed lyrica for me. I took it for 3 days and had such a throbbing pain in the back of my head, it was sore to the touch. It felt like it was bruised. I was in agony trying to get rid of the headache. I immediately stopped taking it. She tried another pill and that didn't work either.
Finally something that is working, it's called Raliva. It is a 24 hr time release pill that was apparently approved in Europe for many many yrs. It was approved in Canada a few yrs ago. It is the only thing that got rid of my excruciating pain. I was never on any prescribed mediation before this other then antibiotics here and there. I am really not into the whole prescription pills for long term use. At this point I have no alternative because without them I wouldn't be able to function normally.
I went to physio and used up the $500.00 Nietzsche company paid for.
I honestly didn't find it helped much. I felt a bit better when I left, but that evening would feel much worse. I also went to a Spinal Specialist and unless my problem really worsens, there isn't much in the way of options.
If it became much worse they would consider surgery, but with that comes a whole new set of potential complications. To be honest I am scared when it comes to surgery especially on my spine.

The benifit you get out of a physio depends on the effort you are willing to put INTO it, if you put the effort into strengthing the mussles then you can fix it for good. if you cant be bothered because you want a quick fix then dont bother because they cant help you

I did do the exercises, and didn't find it did much.
How can you fix bulging dics with deterioration (the spongy part) between the discs? The specialist told me that I can't fix it. I can just try and cope with it and try different things for relief.

Hunter Thomson managed a good career and family from the latter before shooting him self. I live in a city which has a very, very severe drug problem (and I do not speak lightly of it). There are literally thousands of people in this town who are addicted to P, relatives of mine among them--and I'll tell you what, if you want to be fucked up majorly, that's the stuff for the job...
