everyone wanted the smallest possible cell phone.
then they could not press the buttons or hold it to their face.
then they wanted a screen on it
then they wanted a screen on it that they could actually see.
then they wanted a phone that can play video and act as their ATM card
todays apple is $1000.00
what is inflation plus cost reduction due to mass production and reduced wages cost ?
is the new apple phone really worth $3,000.00 USD ?

Got Blackberry 10 for 120$ on Amazon and it does everything I need just fine
Wouldnt mind geting good flip phone IF it was available,easy to work w one hand and safe in case you drop it,,something like Docomo would be nice

1. new technology has finished
2. market saturation of pricing range has arrived
3. indications of trade war with china where apple is made
4 comparative pricing competition has become more substantial to parity quality & function
apple shares are probably a good 25% above thier real market value
but people want to speculate and so they do.
thats their choice
no one is forced to buy an apple cell phone, tablet, laptop or buy their shares.
people who sold their apple shares a few months back when they were really high were probably the lucky ones.
5th thing
india is probably going to start producing its own cell phones soon so anyone looking forward far enough would not want to wait around to have that take another 10% off the global market value of their existing competing share price value.
note samsung have lost around 20% 'over' the last year from a high of 48$
