The Need for a much Faster Propulsion than rockets .

At light speed for one hour is 667,000,000mph . 667million mph .
Rockets are an old technology . They are woefully slow .
To explore this solar system alone we speeds of 50,000mph+ plus . Be able to go to the moon in 5hrs minimum .
To mine the steroid belt even greater speeds .
And tourism . To have trips to the moon . Place to stay . Or go half way and just stop and observe . And go on space walks . Etc.

Rockets will never get us there .

Alternative Propulsion Systems need to be funded and researched . APEC is a start .

Sure they will. A combination of cyclers, NTRs, ion engines and chemical engines will be able to get us to nearby planets in months with a relatively high degree of safety.

Months is no where near fast enough , I want the distance to be covered in a month . Maximum .

I think they should be , defined but by what I want . For obvious reasons . And others I'm sure think the same . We need a more Advanced propulsion system . That will take Us to much , much , much faster speeds . And muck Quicker . Acceleration .

If by obvious you mean wishful thinking and watching too many scifi movies. Instead, we have folks in the space program who have the education, training and experience to know what line of thinking is required to match logical pathways and processes for engineering propulsion systems.

Far more progress will be made in space exploration through research into ion engines, VASIMR engines, NTR's, Orion type engines, pulsed fusion engines etc than "anti-gravity."

What we do know about gravity is nothing compared to what we would need to know in order to manipulate it, let alone use it for interplanetary propulsion.

Stargates are even faster.

But like antigravity, Star Trek transporters and the Infinite Improbability Drive, none of those things exist (or even have any reasonable way to get them to exist.)
 
Stargates are not possible .

To your last statement , we shall see . Knowledge is increasing at an astonishing speed .

Nowadays, our top speed has exceeded 400,000mph.

Stargates are based on worm holes which is about bending space . Space can not be contorted . Therefore not possible in the first place .

Anti-gravity tech . Already being researched .

Einstein relativity predicts wormholes. Mathematically .
Practically not possible .
