In all honesty I don't think I will ever go. I am not motivated to fly anywhere, perhaps by sea one day?
Anyway yes, I feel connected to the city, always have. Being a drum nut and Buddy being the greatest drummer of all time, he just had to be from New York.
Leonard Susskind's lectures on Quantum Mechanics on line got me hooked on physics, one of the things anyway.
The first book I read on physics was "The first 3 minutes," Weinberg was a New Yorker too.
The film I have watched more than any other in my life is "The Warriors," I was obsessed with it as a kid (early 20s)
I do not like it because it is set in New York but it is set in New York, where else!?
I do not think I would like Texas, probably get measles.
