Physically yes.Does the Universe its self still exist , Galaxies , Quasars , Stars , etc. ?
But sentience is not a physical thing. Sentience does not answer to Newton's Laws. When the sentient organism dies its physical parts are redistributed but its sentience just disappears, it has no durable properties.
Let's put it this way. Sentience does not occupy space. It is an abstract cognitive property.
That is why the phenomenon of consciousness is so hard to pin down.
Consciousness and sentience are emergent properties and when the causal physical patterns disintegrate the emergent property ceases to emerge.......
