Recently there are two raging threads about the long defunct notion that masturbation causes harm to the body.

can masturbation cause :
hair loss
atrophy
bent necks
bent spine
bad posture
aging
sexually transmitted diseases
???

Just for the sake of demonstration, let us take a poll on this issue to make sure everyone has a little graphical reminder on the top that shows the dominant position on this issue, and to respect precedent.
 
Of course it's not harmful, in any way. In your list of commonly referred-to myths about it's harmful affects, you forgot blindness. This makes me laugh. Masturbation harmful?! Ha!!
 
Nope. Many people on this board are living proof of the fact that it doesn not cause adverse effects.
 
I don't think masturbation causes any sexual diseases. It contributes to the breakdown of the body initiated by any disease the person may have.
