imo, religious practice is just as much of a drug as anything.
and, in some religions, smoking pot IS a religious practice.
joel olsteen is probably one of the most prolific pushers on the planet right now. "god, the happy pill". and he's getting hella rich from it too.
one of the great things about god is that he gives you peace even when you're not happy.
that particular time in my life i'm referring to was a result of a spiritual experience, that was holy, important, and almost unbearably impactive. what i went through was isolating and frustrating beyond description. and that was the fault of my flesh, not god. i felt like he was putting my flesh through a meat grinder, and it hurt like hell. so yes, i smoked pot to be able to get through it.
