"I ask the simple question, and pointed out the obvious, that sam is saying that all who practice this custom in Islam are kissing up ass."
This is typical of many of your hopelessly muddled "points" that get almost unrecognizably angled up in your own defensive, willful ignorance.
Today? It seems to be getting particularly deep today.
It seems that certain people like samcdkey, spidergoat, spuriousmonkey Nickelodeon, and others have a problem with the fact that at certain time in our countries history the U.S. has supported dictators of unsavory character, well let them please name any country in the world that hasn't supported and traded with dictators of unsavory character, when it has served the best interest of that country, I don't think that you can find a country in the history of the world that hasn't done so, so why is it so bad for the U.S. to serve their best interest, when every other country has done the same thing?
Singapore. Theres your country. Its small, it's tiny, but It's still a country.
The US supports dictators, which then kill millions, and the US still pretends to be morally superior than other countries. The US puts up dictators, makes them seem reasonable, while screwing over millions of people, and for what?, so that macy's can make cheap toys there ?, So that you can steal what natural resources people have left ?. People say that the USSR was a threat and therefore an excuse. there is no excuse to kill millions just to gain more influence or power.
And after that ? Phoney lies and excuses.
Why is it so bad ? because the US kills more people than any other country. While still trying to maintain the facade of the moral high ground.
Considering you support Saudi Arabia, what is wrong with Singapore?
And you don't do body counts, so how do you know how many people the US kills?
Nothing, remember the best interest of the country.
And the question was name a country that doesn't do business with dictators when its in their interest.
Singapore. Theres your country. Its small, it's tiny, but It's still a country.
Sorry but the U.S. isn't killing more people right now than any other country that honor goes to Sudan, but if you count the Moslems on Jihad for Islam, Sudan runs a poor second place.
And Singapore is a dictatorship which trades with dictatorships, it has a well established cash and care arms industry, who sell to all with the money to buy.

Hardly conclusive evidence, You show that Singapore can make arms, like any other country. Some "analysts" deem that Singapore may have supplied weapons to myammar. I'll give you credit where its due, you pointed out that not even singapore is immune.
But tens of other countries have done it, but you asked
What makes the US so bad ? Because they do To a lot more people therefore harming a lot more people. While still trying to maintain the moral high ground Which just stinks of obvious hypocrisy..
I don't support dictatorships, but the US has armed them the most and this has got to stop. They cannot claim be morally higher and continue, Singapore doesn't.
