Okay, apparently I've got to clear my name here... At dinner tonight, my mom was watching reruns of "The Bachelor." I watched for 30 minutes, and decided to set up a poll here when I came upstairs for my nightly fill of sciforums.
No, I do not regularly watch mindless television shows. I just thought, perhaps, a few of you guys do, mostly because I've seen threads ranging from Avril Lavigne to Saved By The Bell here at different points. Anyways, at least some of the responses are interesting!
NOTES: Kirsten is a pretty name, but she appears to be a bitch from what I saw. I think Jen has the biggest "rack," but I could be wrong.

Well airavata allow me to fill you in on the Phenomenon that is the Bachelor..*cue angelic music*.....Well it's basically a show where one guy has to choose between 50 girls....50 girls....i think. Every episode the number of girls dwindles down untill he eventually chooses from that last two standing. Personally i can't stand the show because it's 50, what would seem like intelligent women, degrading themselves for one guy who doesn't even look that good in the first place. I guess they really do it for the 15 minutes of fame because after some women appearing on the editions of "The Bachealor" have gotten their carrer's off ground. Infact the reject from the first edition went on to have her own version of the Bachealor called "The bachealorette".....it's sad cheap entertainment but it gets huge ratings for the ABC channel
FYI, it starts out with 25 girls, then the guy narrows it down to 15, then 10, 6, 4, 3, 2, and the winner. And then they get married.

..you seem to know pretty well the concept of the show......oh also you call that marriage...FYI none of them have even gotten married yet...hell they break up two days later after the cameras go away because the real colors show through.
