I've worked something out for Porfiry, but it's entirely up to the people that post in sciforums and Porfiry.
I know in the past that it's crossed a few peoples minds that Porfiry kind of has a Copyright on everything that everybody discusses in here. Now some people might complain at that but on the most part Porfiry is fair and I don't think he would run off with an idea and become a coorporate saboteur overnight.
Why do I mention this???
Quite simply, if Porfiry can pull the archives together and format them for an "Offline" content (convert to HTML etc), then it would be possible to create "Sciforum's Archive Cd-roms".
*Starts the advertising drive*
"Yes you too, can send your handle name and a cheque to porfiry and purchase a CD-rom of all the sciforums antics. Just for the price of $*.**"
Okay so the above is what I kind of imagine someone with interpersonal sales skills would say to us all.
So... Hows about it?????
