I often envy people who are dead or dying because unlike me, at least they finally found peace for themselves.

Why are people not equal in ability? One argument against communist economic systems is that people are not equal in ability and that smart and talented people contribute more to society than 'stupid' people. What makes some people smarter than others? What are some very smart and others not?

Mainly genetics. And I'd agree with you. People vary from one another in their inherent capabilities to an incredible degree. Some people are very stupid; others exhibit almost unbelievable cognitive abilities. Genes make people, so genes make the difference.
