Not only was Pakistan (a nuclear power) put in the impossible position of having to take sides with the US against their usually friendly neighbour and fellow Islamist country, but now India (a nuclear power) is getting all wound up, because Pakistan seems to be receiving extra attention and favour from the US. What's going to happen next? What is the design of this thing? Is some 'body' hoping that another war breaks out in Eurasia? Between the cultures and religions of the third world and developing nations? Wouldn't that be perfect? To get these overpopulated countries to fight each other, decimate their own numbers and put them back 50 years economically.
Then the west moves in with economic aid and political solutions
and a permanent presence. Bingo! Control is all theirs.

India and pakastan

They already have reports of troop movement in northern India and reports of artillery strikes against Pakistan, unconfirmed of course.

India says, Pakistan is using this opportunity to get a chunk of Kashmir. I dont blame them. They got a piece long time ago. During the Indian Independence, India made the mistake of making Kashmir a full state (status like Puerto Rico). They are paying for that stupidity by Nehru and later - Indira Gandhi.

I don't think they need any help from us, they've been doing quite nicely the last 50 years. I think is been 3 full wars & tens(?) of mini-skirmishes? What's with this bloodhatred between the two? Aren't Pakistanis Indians who converted to Islam during the Mogul occupation? Don't Pakistanis speak Urdu, which is Hindi with an Arabic alphabet?

Before Mogul invasion, India streched from Afghanistan to Burma. The Hindukush mountain says it all. The Moguls forcibly converted a large part of that area into Muslim religion. Urdu is a cross between some Hindi, Peshwari, Persian (Iran).

When brothers fight....it can last generations....

Yup but I think urdu came from Sanskrit scripts. Also I think sub continent India was ruled by mugals who were muslims for almost 300 years then came british. Also I heard that Kashmiris suppose to have freedom to elect their goverment but Indians didn't let them. Kashmir folks wants independent but Pakistan wants them to join Pakistan and India wants them to be their part. I feel sorry for people who think in that direction. Very sad people. They don't listen to what Kashmir wants but rather they fight for it.

What happens if theres a revolution in pakkistan and they use there nuclear arsenal to defend/attack afganistan and kashmir?

Benji,
I think that counrty is pretty stable interms of Nukes, They had it for 12 years and the goverments came and gone no problems at all. And I am sure Nukes are not some fire crackers that you can just light a matchstick and use them. What I heard from FAS.ORG is their command anc control system is more stable then Indians. It even stated that they have multilayer protection for any mistake. It is very and highly unlikely for their nukes to get into wrong hands.
