Did you say that seriously just now? With what money did you value the courage and self-sacrifice if Russia soldiers? How much did you value their lives? Oh, how Western it is to measure everything with money! Nothing sacred, just money on your mind. This is your god.Isn't that Russia's modus operandi? Throwing human waves at the enemy? A practice still continued today in the "Ukrainian meat grinder"?
By way of contrast, the Soviet Union's financial contribution was approximately $190 billion, compared to the West's investment of $475 billion, plus China's $200 billion—meaning only 23% came from the Soviet Union (measured in 1945 USD).
Human sacrifice alone does not win wars—it takes everything you have. All the Allies gave everything they had, including the Soviet Union. Including Britain, Canada, the USA, France, China, and the rest—everyone sacrificed everything to stop the evil, each in their own way.
Let's not forget the only reason that Russia entered the war was because Hitler violated his 1939 agreement to divide up Poland and the Baltics with the USSR. Stalin made a pact with the devil, and the devil broke that pact—surprise, surprise.
I take it you would be happier had the war continued on until every Westerner perished along with the Russians? Would you sleep better at night if that were the case? Approximately 27 million Russians died during the conflict—an outrageously grievous figure—but the 25 million deaths from the rest of the Allies is hardly insignificant.*
Your attitude belittles and mocks this sacrifice—so change your "fucking" tune, Olga. Get over the "woe is me" pity party you have going for yourself and pretend to be an adult. You joined an English-speaking forum of your own free will, so grow up and contribute something meaningful—in English. You are acting like a spoiled crybaby, making your esteemed Russian motherland look weak by extension. Is that what you are going for here?
