Vunerability is not what I mean by emotional.
Your above response illustrates the kind of emotion that I’m referring to.
By cancelling me you are exercising your power, which is pretty harmless
in this scenario. But imagine a powerful leader who makes assumptions based on what he/she think is being said, irrespective of what has been said, the way you did

So you have the time to make this bullying abusive post, shouting and carrying on like a pork chop, but have no time to read any of the material that is after all what this thread is about..I accuse you of trying to derail this thread and avoid the real issue which is how the church degrades women.

There is no need to offer excuses just stop derailing this thread and cease your adhom attacks and rude shouting.

Now why don't you seek to discuss the issue rather than use this thread to repeatedly attack me with your tiresome tirades.

Do you have anything to contribute that is relevant to the thread, and let me remind you of the title..Women and Religion..do you have anything sensible to say or not?

And as I said earlier perhaps we are all a little stressed and as you present more stressed than anyone here I ask that you gather your wits and try to stay calm and above all respectful.

Wouldnt it be nice if we could all meet and go out to dinner get totally sloshed and have a friendly discussion on politics, religion sexism etc
It would be a wonderful night.

I'm half-hoping you're trolling to get a reaction, but sadly, I think you've viewed women in this way for so long, you simply can't see the problem with your mindset. This is a sexist mindset, Jan. Why do you even bother thinking about all of this when interacting with women? Just interact with no preconceived notions, and you may come away surprised.

Men and women are different. I don’t know if you regard that as sexist or not, but it is an observation. Once we understand and accept that observation, then we can get into what those differences are, and how they relate to us on a fundamental level. No one disputes that men and women are different, but apart from the pretty much universally conceded biological differences, we do not know what those differences are. Nor do we really have the means to definitively establish any conjectured behavioral or personality differences.

Typically, when one observes that women are more ______, or that men are more apt to be ______, we also note that certain cultural practices, policies, bigotries, etc. have greatly informed such, such that these hypothesized "differences" are rendered wholly invalid.
 
I have notice this situation unfold many times..sitting at the pub having a friendly drink ..a subject will start to be discussed, by that I mean the guys monopolize the chat, the girls try and contribute but the guys don't take their eyes off their opponents eyes by now arguing back and forth...often one girls does not have the sense to ignore their pissing competition and contributes something intelligent...more often than not both guys will turn on that poor girl and in turn lecture her to the point where she gets up, sometimes in tears, (as I probably would if attacked with such ferocity..maybe not tears but I think I would be just as upset having two guys shouting in my face) and goes off to the bathroom...one bloke will turn to the other and say " women they are all the same just too emotional" or similar...all men at the table nod in agreement..the girls just look down...if I am half sober I will say " yes and all men like to gang up on females"..they always have to think about that and look down shake their heads and have a sip of beer and say to the other guys ..so who will win on Saturday.

The interesting thing is they never argue with me cause they now realise their bully tactic won't work.

The girl comes back and so often they appologise which is wonderful.

Anyways can I ask that this thread get back on topic.

I think it is appropriate to discuss the fundamental natures of man and woman (even if it does appear outdated).

I do not simply "skim" or "glance over" anyones Posts...and those Posts that I reply to or are replies to my Posts - I reread many times while thinking about what is written in them and while composing responses to them.

As I tried to inform you in my very first Post in this Thread, Alex, I am not Religious.
No real man would ever allow any book to rule how he should personally treat any other Human Being...be they Male, Female, Short, Tall, Black, White, Young, Old, etc...
Like I Stated/Asked you before : You claim to have been involved in the Court System at one time, Alex...would the excuse : " I Do Not Follow Any Of My Religions Rules, Tenets, Dogmas, Commandments or Laws EXCEPT My Religions Edict That Women Must Be Inferior To Men", fly in the Court of Law?

And another BTW : I am not shouting by capitalizing words...I capitalize them so that you might actually NOTICE and completely READ them...

I gave some good examples of what I meant by women being emotional by courtesy of stuff wegs said.

This whole thread is based on the accusation that Christianity is the reason why men abuse women, or something dumb like that.
I don’t see you chiming in on that.
Wegs is a theist, and as far as I know, a follower of Jesus, and she would accept a dinner date with the accuser.:D

I am not Religious, Jan Ardena...as I have repeatedly stated.
Ergo, I do not have a Religion that teaches "that women must be inferior to men".
