o.k, so why did you ask if you know what it means already?
if you listen where smeg is mentioned taken from the context i thought it means shit. Who cares anyway, it is'nt even a word. Smeg are kitchen appliances that Grand Naylor liked the sound of so thats how it managed to get into the show, as for what it means, i dont know.

I don't know what it means. In an interview, Craig Charles said it didn't mean 'shit' or 'f*ck'.
 
Actually I remember a writer mentioning it was taken from "Smegma", and it's most noticable when it's used in conjuncti[vitis]on with the word "head."
 
Smeg is short for smegma ..... Smegma is a white pus looking stuff found around the genitals.......ewwwww gross

Red dwarf the movie would be the next logical step i suppose, they are supposedly making it just now and if it sells well they might consider doing a few more series.
 
They should make a new series. Didn't the Red Dwarf crew get killed off by a virus or something? I can't remember that far back
 
radiation leak killed the crew, the whole point in red dwarf was that lister was the last human alive but i think they spoiled it.
