Receiving email alerts for new posts when i have turned them all off

The site has recently changed it's email system to send notifications via Gmail. sa###spin@##ail.com You may need to reset your filters or mail priorities.
I think this is to make use of the gmail anti spam provisions and possibly to prevent Ddos attacks. ( just guessing )
 
Where do I turn off alerts to my email address ?I am happy with alerts on site but not to clutter up my email address.

Is all I can do to filter out these notifications at my own email address if I want to keep the notifications/alerts on site?
