Well theres a term for it but I had this thought come to me...excuse the off-tangents...
Awhile ago when I had seen that the Pyramids of Giza and the Nile mirrored Orion and the Milky Way, and through more research and thought with other civilizations and ancient structures they were always aligned to solstices and equinoxes, and more. Its very elaborate and deep. I think there ws a technology based on Harmonic Resonance. It has to do with cosmic/star/galactic energies through alignments and times/places that allow for different kinds of information to bring something into reality. It could be channeled consciously or subconsciouly through humans, maybe being enhanced through structures that will magnify the energy/intelligence, such as pyramids. Stone can absorb and hold energy as well as all kinds of other things. Crystal transduce energy. Anyway...
Picture the Earth as a mirror of the sky at whatever time. ie constellation points, such as Giza/Orion. Imagine structures aligned to these constellations that are transmitting information. Actually without the structures before man built them. I have 2 ponderings when it comes to the race/evolution issue. And this whole race thing has just been a little pondering, but
1. We were in our primitive state and in certain times of alignment we subconscioulsy started receiving information and impulsively acted on them without knowing what the hell we were doing .ie gathering rocks to make a circle or building something at a certain place. And, as Terrence McKennas thought, its possible our leap in evolution could have been brought on by the use of hallucinogenic/psychotropic plants/substances. Maybe with the combination we started evolving and becoming more conscious of these energies and started learning how to focus on them, determine what they were and where they were coming from. So, you have the ability to receive and channel information from different stars (this can also explain interstellar communication as a possibility since you dont have to worry about physics) Perhaps we channeled our creation stories. Maybe Ra was a higher dimensional being and channeled through certain peoples. (With Ancient Egypt there is alot of interesting evidence for their use of sound and harmonic resonance used as a technology through artifacts and structures, even to some engineers whove looked at some hieroglyphics they say that some kind of look like schematics) As far as race is concerned...With different areas of the Earth mirroring different constellations in the sky, you have different styles but the principles are the same! Before religion was bs, they all have their creation myths and principles and though the names are different, the principles are the same, mostly. Thats because its a universal process! So in the same light (heh) maybe the creation stories didnt come from one place or person, but different people at different places had these revalations/realizations because the information was channeled, not from the same being, but because its a universal principle that is absolute. I guess I just repeated myself
Since different beings /physical/animals adapt to their environment, this can also explain for different colors and features of us.
Or maybe we could have different races because maybe we came from different parts of the Universe, you never know, our knowledge of history is finite and not solid compared to the span of Earths history. Theres alot of things that intertwine and intersect when it comes to different things but Ive always been interested in and researched this kind of stuff since I can remember. Sorry if its jaded

This looks like the perfect place to post my theory:
First and most importantly, there are multiple plains. Second, All Beings are classified into these plains. All Mythological creatures live on the highest mortal plain; The Astral Plain. There are two attributes that matter, Mind, and Body.3rd. Humans have M10% and B90%, while Astral Beings are M100% and B0%. After we set up the boundries of the parallel plains, we must know that all capassities are in perportion. Even studies of plants seem to support my theory, sunflowers, for example, have only the concious decision of yes and no. this is proven when the sun, moving in it's regular pattern, the flowers follow the sun. Also, vines actualy make pacts with trees! this is shown as a vine protects a tree, and feeds off of the tree it'self. moving to the lower plains, we see beings who have no control over they're mentallity. They must always act as a single unit. if we wish to see the origan of "Aliens", we must travel to the central plain. This plain is perfectly ballanced between the physical and mental states. here these beings have the abbility to teleport, like Astral Beings, and since they have a physical state, they are able to have technologys. Now we head to the BIG PICTURE!!!!!!!! There are 2 major Plains, The Celestial plain, and the Etheroi plain. The Celestial Plain is the plain in whish only 2 different beings; Dieties and Avitars. The Dieties are the Ultimate Beings in All of the plains. There are 5 Dieties, 2 evil, 2 good, and 1, the deciding factor in all decisions, who is neutral. The Avitars are A kind of... Demi-God, with 3 Avitars for each plain. These Avitars control the fate of the inhabitance of they're plain. On the Opposite end of the Spectrum, are the Etheroi. The Etheroi, are beings of total Nothingness. Although this may seem untrue, the notion of a true Vacuum.These beings destroy other beings, as well as themselves. Now to go to the verry begining... where time began. it begins at the ORIGONAL PLAIN. here, the Dieties and Etheroi lived. For some reason, the Dieties decided that they must seperate them selves from the Etheroi. thus they split the plain, and a chain reaction accured. This is much more likely that a magical ball of rock appearing out of nowhere then exploding, and life magicaly spawns from it.

I don't believe anything, but that seems most likely, actually my opinion is a variation on that, kind of a hybrid. since engergy and mass are the same thing, they represent states of something that is both....? something like that. just dichotomy I suppose. it is both, but not at the same time. hmm.. maybe there are conditions that lead to a state of both.. *shrug*Originally posted by moonman

Do you believe that our physical world is holographic in nature, ie. 'Solid' matter doesn't exist as we see it, at the subatomic level it's nothing more than forces repelling and attracting to form the illusion of a solid object?
hmmm.. I don't think you're comparing the same kinds of energy.... thought energy doesn't exist in the physical world except in a weak electro-chemical form. I doubt the sheer energetic strength of the reactions in the brain influence the binding energies of atoms... but I do think that the whole relativity and quantum mechanics thing may have some bearing on reality, in that the observer forces reality to collapse to an observed result. consider that the meaning of any event, no matter it's scale, is only assigned during observation (or subsequent reflection). thusly, you can hand me a tv and if i think it's a purple monkey, are there two realities? I my opinion, that is another dual relationship, yes there are two realities and no, there is only one reality. both statements are true.
time is only meaningfull in the subjetive sense, except through science. time has an objective FUNCTION and that function is meaningfull, but the concept of time as in "it passed" is only meaningfull when observed.

hmm... that's a good question. I would say that though is real in the sense that it is a degree of freedom. i might further assert that it can be accounte for physically in terms of neurochemical reactions, etc.. but.. it is a degree of freedom that has no basis in physical (per my assertions in the second thread listed above). the brain gives rise to the condition of consciousness but that condition is part of a higher dimension of space, one higher such that physical location can be irrelavent. consciousness all happens in the same dimension (or space) and is only separated physically by the brain, yet funnelled to a place where they all (all subjective experieneces) exist in the same "space" but are separated by context... by 'vibe", so to speak incredibly loosely. sorry, that might have seemed a little spacey, I just don't know how to properly communicate what I'm getting at, and I'm only mostly sure it even remotely makes sense.

You should keep an ear to the scientific community... the explanation for the different races that I've come to halfass understand was from Scientific American or Discover magazine just a few months ago. It is basically that, pigment is there to regulate the production of vitamin D in the skin. At higher longitudes, the sun is different than at the equater in terms of ultraviolet radiation. the amount of this radiation which enters the sub-skin stuff (I'm not very medical, pardon) is actually what regulates the production of vitamin d, and the pigment of the skin controls the amount of radiation that's let in. people adapted to their local environment, those who settled near the equator were dark, those north or south, lighter the farther you go. estimate in the article were something like 10-20 thousand years for a settlement or whatever to adapt to the climate. maybe it was a bit longer, but it was under 100, 000 thousand years for sure. pretty quick eh?
