official questions thread!

Porf I've noticed on other forums that they usually have an interactive story section. Could you start one? Stryderunkown APPEARS to have started one under free thoughts and I'm considering doing the same thing.

Could we have a chat thingy?

Is it possible to view who has viewed your threads or other peoples threads?

Could we have fun little contests where people submit the best quotes they can think of and then could they be posted on the main page for a week or somethig?

How r the sales (in general or exact-its your choice) going for all the sciforums parephenalia?

On average how many people join the forums per day? Take your best guess.

Nope, sorry. The software doesn't record that data (there'd be a huge amount of information if it did).

Sure. There's nothing stopping users from doing this on their own. You don't need prizes to make it fun, do you? :)

Ever read Crime and Punishment?
It's not that I'm enamoured with the character -- but it happens to be an alias that absolutely no one else uses on the internet, so it always works for me.
 
Some more qvestions:

I took a class on html and I know how to do it, but we used chevrons (<>) instead of these things ([]). Why is that? Is it a different version of html?

Free thoughts should become a superforum with other subsections like stories, theories, discoveries, or just talking about nothing.

Do you have a limit on how many forums or superforums you can have?

How many posts does it take to become a member then a senior member?

Oh, umm.. no, not right now. What kind of audio files are you wanting to post? If you get an error, just let me know and I'll add the extension to the allowed list (or you could just compress the file as a .zip and it will be allowed).
