Psychology of Conspiracy Theorists

Well, after a quick glance on this thread it seems that the conclusion is made BEFORE doing the research!

A lot of bla bla bla about conspiracies etc. But never the question if things are true or not?

It as already assumed conspiracies are untrue! What a hogwash, bollocks and shite.

After years of research I have found ( I will keep it within 'science' because there is so much more)


Evolutiontheory is wrong, there are no blackholes, the Biggie Bangie never happened,
relativity is wrong, quantum mechanis is wrong, electron theory is wrong,'
gravity is not understood by science, magnetics is not understood by science,
There is tempered with the Maxwell equations. the 'gravity component' is removed
from the Maxwell equations, so we will not discover 'ant-gravity", free energy ( over unity) is
a possibility, there is no limit to the speed of light. Most of the theories of Newton are wrong and
hence everything that is build upon that ( btw Newton did NOT wrote the Principals, he was too dronk!)
Pasteurs theory ( germ theory) is extremely flawed), medical doctors do not really understand the body and/or mind. Psychiatry is one big Hoax and there is no proof that this shit works. Vaccines are very dangerous and toxic
and so on and so forth.

And all this provable.

I particularly like your claim that germ theory is flawed... what, pray tell, is it that has caused me to be stuffy with a runny nose, full sinuses, headache and fever, and body aches, hm? Modern medicine tells me the most likely culprit is the Influenza virus... but you claim this to be a lie

So, tell me... why am I ACTUALLY sick, hm?

I give respect to anyone I meet out of common courtesy until they do something to lose said respect.
You have already lost said respect via several posts of driveling nonsense and utter bullshit.

So, you have two options:
1) Prove what you are posting, as is REQUIRED by the site rules that you agreed to be bound to when you signed up
2) Face moderation for breaking the site rules you agreed to be bound to when you signed up.

Those are the two options you have... take your pick.

EDIT - and for the record, I am generally quite a friendly person - however, we have had a recent influx of stupid that is grinding my last nerve... in addition, I am currently suffering my first case of the flu in several years and it has me quite irritable. Seeing one of my favorite forums overrun by utter bollocks and snake oil claims with no basis in reality, though, has left me quite angry...

That'd be nice, but from what I know of ryggesogn2, his stupidity is ineluctable and inexorable. Something like having another handle or sock discovered won't stop that one.

Here is the thing about respect.

It is earned.

Since your arrival to this site, you have gone out of your way to insult people's intelligence, not to mention abuse the scientific method and frankly, you have posted utter drivel. In other words, you have not respected this site or its members. Not once.

People took time to explain things to you, to treat you with respect and they were met with complete disrespect from you.

And you wonder why people are not treating you with respect?

While you are enjoying your ban, think about how you wish to be perceived. Certainly, this is the internet and you are faceless. But this comes down to your own self respect and thus far, it is clear that you have none.

I think that MR was simply pointing out that occasionally, when people become convinced that "the system" and "the establishment" are out to get them, it's really true. They really are.

Possessing that kind of belief isn't always psychopathological, as some posts in this thread seem to want to suggest. Jews' distrust of Nazi Germany wasn't just an expression of their own paranoia.
