Popularity contest!

You're correct. The formula is backwards.

It should be Likes divided by Total.
Yes. Oops. I have edited the opening post (and left a note about my silly mistake).

We really want

$\frac{\text{total likes}}{\text{total number of posts}} \times 100$.

which gives me a score of about 4.2%. Low, but I had a lot of posts before we introduced a "likes" system.

Or maybe it's just that I post crap.

lol You don't post ''crap.''

I wonder if there is a way to ''pro-rate'' the post:like ratio, to when the forum started using the ''like'' feature? For example, if you could somehow figure out behind the scenes, what your post count on the precise date the like feature was implemented and then tally up the posts from that point to now (and the # of likes), that might be an interesting comparison.

I don't think there's an easy way to do it. This whole thread was just a bit of fun. I knew I'd have a low score.

I will aspire to reach the dizzying heights of popularity that you have already attained before me, cluelusshusbund.

Let's face it: I'll never match michael's score.
