Piercings....why?

i vote, its your body, if you want to put metal EVERYWHERE then be my guest, I wont do it.. But I am not against piercing.. I just dont like some haha

No but my point was, why are piercings specifically seen as a trend when almost literally anything you can do could be construed as a trend. Lots of people wear blue jeans, but no one calls them a slave to trends. So why are facial piercings noteworthy as a trend when other things are apparently not?

I can't actually remember where I got the idea. I just have this fixation with metals; I feel deficient if I'm not wearing any.
