Has anyone come into contact with folk who profess to be Pagans.
I have a neighbour but other than being invited to a nude dance for some celebration in which they drew on their bodies with ash from the fire, I have no idea. I did not accept the invitation as I knew there would possibly be drugs and booze and you know how parties can get out of hand. Actually I can't think of a party where something wild did not happen, the fights that happen.

There about ten ladies living there at any one time and although I think men may visit I think there are only a couple of guys who live but with no relation ship as such.
Probably 25 the Dec may be a big day night etc in their calendar as well. I think they bath in the dam afterwards.
She must be keen as I think she went to Easter island for something, equinox maybe.
Meet in the street normal nice attractive just like anyone else, good person, good in conversation thoughtful and kind.
Should have a goggle but I just was wondering.

Certainly not a practicing pagan with any type of ritual, But I come on strong to defend as a pagan, as you might have noticed, when thieving christians come out around Christmas time to complain about "people forgetting" the meaning of Christmas, when they stole, yes I said stole, pagan festivities which the meanings were to get pissed and relax and tried to convert them into a Birthday Party where you get dressed up in your best clothes and go and sing boring songs of praise to the birthday boy

In what Universe is that an improvement on getting drunk and debauched?

If you want to have a boring singing songs of praise party make up your own festivities and pick another time theist and see how that works out for you

(Gets down off soapbox and has a quiet word with manager to make it stronger for next time :biggrin:)

Did you post this here because most IT folks and Computer Programmers are pagans or did you forget to wear your glasses before posting?:wink:

By the way I think the big night for pagans is Dec. 21st, that is when Solstice Claus comes to town!

Did you ever notice the similarity in the names Santa and Satan? Both Santa and Satan want to take the emphasis off of little tiny baby Jesus during Christmas!

"Pagan" is a broad brush. Anyone who doesn't follow a strict adherence to an established religion could be painted a pagan.

My greeting around this time is often "happy birthday Jesus" in an attempt I suppose to point out commercialism but I think I will now say "happy Sunday" and of course will be asked and then I can explain the mystery of religion.

But to the point.
I think your contribution on topic if it somehow fits in anyway with "Sunday" it would presumably have some link. So much it would seem shared.
I think I need to find some platinum pages with the true word ... But there will be an app. I will get a robe and a pointy hat and a big stick, er a crutch, ...
Just thinking aloud and going out there... The rather concerning thing about my suggestion of, in effect another cult, is if I did something like that, probably with not that much thought but deliver some sort if positive message and a caution for doom, if you put up the right video on utube you will get some one who likes your product...anyone know where you can buy thin platinum sheet say A4 preferably A5...a red pointy hat with plenty of advertising space.
It helps getting crazy stuff outta your head and not actually doing it..second scary thing, what I suggest is no doubt being done by someone if we only cared to look.

No, but a loin cloth is pretty easy to make, and there are plenty of mountains on which to sit and ponder life.

So hot here a loin cloth probably would be the way to go.
I must try some slide on the cigar box guitar with a cosmic pedal.
