Opinions on Russian, Ukraine and the West.

So everyone is being a "Russophobe," but you are okay with making ominous remarks that soon Russia will be taking over and we will have to speak Russian.
You have a lot of imagination. I didn't say anything about the seizure of power. Are you broadcasting your fears?

The translation you provided sounded like a threat. You said "you'll all have to learn it [Russian ] soon." No fears, just noting the aggression implied by your apparent phrasing. "Have to" in English means some coercion.

In the manner of new antisemitism or the weaponization of antisemitism, and due to a recurring theme in this thread apparently being utilized to deflect criticism from government actions and policies... Perhaps this "recent" Kremlin incarnation of Russophobia should be similarly distinguished as "new Russophobia" or "polemic Russophobia" or "RDS" or "Russian victim card".

While also diplomatically acknowledging that incrementally expanding NATO defense encroachment may have either contributed to or provided an excuse for Putin's invasive and annexationist behavior toward Ukraine...
  • Weaponization of antisemitism: The exploitation of accusations of antisemitism, especially to delegitimize criticism of Israel or opposition to Zionism, is sometimes called weaponization of antisemitism.

New antisemitism: Critics argue that, in practice, the concept is used to weaponize antisemitism. This conflates political anti-Zionism and criticism of the Israeli government with racism, by condoning violence against Jews, or by likening the Israeli government's actions to the Holocaust while stifling both political debate and freedom of speech about the ongoing Israeli–Palestinian conflict.

    As a polemic device...

Anti-Russian sentiment: The Russian government and its supporters are sometimes criticised for using allegations of "Russophobia" as a form of propaganda to counter criticism of government policy. Sources critical of the Russian government claim that it is Russian state-owned media and administration who attempt to discredit the "neutral" criticism by generalizing it into indiscriminate accusations of the whole Russian population – or Russophobia.

Borrowing from Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS)...

The Kremlin is trying to make ‘Russophobia’ a thing: Recent weeks have seen a new burst of Russian talk about “Russophobia,” a term that implies that fear of Russia is a form of mental illness. While anxiety about Russia appears quite rational these days, Moscow wants to depict Russophobia as an unhinged ideology that the world must join forces to oppose.

    Dealing the victim card...

Playing the victim: The perceived fabrication or exaggeration of victimhood for a variety of reasons such as to justify abuse to others, to manipulate others, a coping strategy, attention seeking or diffusion of responsibility. A person who repeatedly does this is known as a professional victim. An actual victim is someone or something that has been hurt, damaged, or killed or has suffered, either because of the actions of someone or something else, or because of illness or chance.

So much misinformation from brainwashed simpletons w anti rusia bs its hilarous
What misinformation are you referring to? Be specific.
We ie cia overthrew legal Ukro gov in 2014 and put Zelen the comedian as prez.
Who is "we"? What is your source for this information?
Ukro neonazi murdered many thousands ruski civilians living there this is fully documented by UN
Please link me to the relevant UN documentation to which you are referring.
Rusians and Ukrainians have same language and are practicaly brothers
That doesn't seem to be stopping Putin's war.
Trying to place nukes misiles in Ukr was last straw and Rusia had no choice but to put stop to it to defend their country
Who was trying to place nukes in Ukraine? What is your source for that?

Ukraine willingly gave up its nuclear weapons, you know.
Our Gov seriously underestimated Rusia and their military power and it will be our downfall
How so? Please explain.
Stealing many bilions $ of rusian assets here means no one will ever invest in US for fear of havin it stolen also
Are you referring to the assets that Russian leaders stole from their own people and sequested in offshore accounts and the like, which have been frozen by the US and other nations? Or something else?
China comes to mind.
China is a big trading partner of the US.
Watch Traveling with Russell or Sams rusian adventures to see truth about Rusia life
What are the most important truths about Rusia life that you think we should know?

Don't talk about things you don't understand. You've been brainwashed by propaganda.
Maybe. Or maybe you have been brainwashed by propaganda.

Can you think of a way that you and I can determine who has and who has not been brainwashed by propaganda, Olga?

Alternatively, forget about trying to work that out. Let's just see where we agree and where we disagree, regarding relevant facts. How does that sound?

Are there some facts you'd like to discuss with me? Did I get something factually wrong?

Olga:
Nowadays, wars are fought mainly over minds. And specifically on this site, the West has already lost this war.
Which war?
I came here as a big supporter of the West, and l'm leaving here as its ardent opponent.
What did you support about the West, previously?
And l think l will be able to convince many thinkers in our country to accept my point of view.
Is this still Olga posting, or has the Captain or the Colonel or whoever it was that previously took over Olga's account for brief time stepped in again? Was Olga not doing a good enough job? Did Olga's internet privileges get revoked?
These are all lies that Western Russophobes like you here come up with.
Which lies are you referring to? Be specific.

I don't believe you anymore. Almost all of you are Russophobes here, and you can come up with anything. We a
Olga knows me better than that. Can you please let Olga post again? She was a lot nicer and more polite than you are, whoever you are.
You probably did it yourself to denigrate the Russians. Because you hate everything Russian.
To whom are you referring? Everybody on sciforums? We all hate everything Russian, now?

You're sounding quite irrational, man.

He was killd by the British to put the Russians. Now that l know how hypocritical and deceitful you are in the West, l am sure of it.
Does that sound rational to you? Why would the British want to kill a journalist who was saying negative things about the Russian regime? Since all British people are Russophobes who hate everything Russian, shouldn't they have been giving Litvinenko prizes and accolades for saying mean things about Russia's glorious leadership?

Those Brits are all crazy. Killing people who are working in their interests!

Of course, there's an alternative narrative available that makes a lot more sense than this spur-of-the-moment weak Russian propaganda effort. But maybe this sort of story works for certain gullible people in the local Russian media market. Maybe it's not meant for us.
