The rest mass of the electron . Mathematical conclusion.

In modern "science" there are no mathematical equations at all explaining, for example, why the mass of an electron is exactly 9.1093837015*10-31kg.
The rest mass of the proton = 1.6726 * 10-27kg
The energy value of the first energy level (in electron volts) = 13.53 eV
The energy value of the first energy level (in joules) = 2.485 * 10-19 J
The rest mass of an electron = 9.1095 * 10-31kg
The new equation I found :
1.6726 * 10-27kg * 13.53 eV : 2.485 * 10-19 J = 9.1095 * 10-31kg

The “energy level” mentioned seems close to the 1st ionisation energy of the hydrogen atom: an apparently random choice with no fundamental significance for the nature of the electron itself.

But on past form, Noodlepat is not interested in discussion, just drives by to post pointless bits of numerology and then disappears again.

I'm not sure where you got 2.485 *10-19 from. I suspect there is an error in your calculations.

I get 2.17 *10^-18 J, which is an order of magnitude larger.

Great. Er - since these measurements are two sides of the same coin - i.e. they are direct translations of each other - how could it possibly be significant?
What you're doing is essentially the same as saying "There are 12 inches in a foot and there are 30.5cm in a foot, therefore the number 12x30.5 = 366 is significant."

1.6726 * 10-27kg * 13.53 eV : 2.485 * 10-19 J = 9.1095 * 10-31kg
Except it's wrong for several reasons:

1. Your numbers are wrong. As above, the first energy level is 2.17*10^-18.

2. Your math is wrong. Look at just the exponents: 10^-27 * 10^1 * 10^-19 does not give you 10^-31. It gives you 10^-45. Your answer is off by about fifteen orders of magnitude.

3. Your units are wrong. kg * eV * J does not give you kg; it gives you kg eV J.

I'm counting the SIGNIFICANT parts of the numbers!
By the way, "quite by accident" :
The rest mass of an electron is 9.1090 * 3 = 27.327, which is the period of rotation of the Moon around the Earth in days. And on this very number 27.32 , Newton 's entire law of Universal gravity is based !!!

THE GRAVITATIONAL CONSTANT and THE "GOLDEN RATIO" OF THIS WORLD.
Planck's constant = 6.626
Gravitational constant = 6.673
The Phi number (the "golden ratio") = 1,618
Electron rest mass = 9.1090
Electron rest mass * (3 * Phi number) : Planck's constant = Gravitational constant
9,1090 * (3 * 1,618) : 6,626 = 6,673 The gravitational constant

It’s not even pseudo, really.

What beats me about these numerology cranks is that so often the supposed correspondences they come up with depend entirely on choice of units of measure. So in different units, the “coincidence” on which they set such store is not there.

((extremely SIMPLE, CONCISE and BRILLIANT !!!)

Planck's constant = 6.626
Gravitational constant = 6.673
The Phi number (the "golden ratio") = 1,618
Electron rest mass = 9.1090
Planck's constant * Gravitational constant : (3 * Phi number) = rest mass of the electron
6,626 * 6,673 : (3 * 1,618) = 9,1090 The rest mass of an electron

Just leaving out units this time then?

Is that so?

Your "equation" says this:
1.6726 * 10-27kg * 13.53 eV : 2.485 * 10-19 J = 9.1095 * 10-31kg

You are now saying "only the sig digs matter!"

This is reduced to grade school math: So your new claim is this:
1.6726 * 13.53 * 2.485 = 9.1095

Which is also false, because:
1.6726 * 13.53 * 2.485 = 56.23

How does one manage to eff up adding three numbers?

Did you also know that the height of the Statue of Liberty in cubits is equal to the distance to alpha Centauri in furlongs, minus the number of leap years since Constantine's death - to within a few orders of magnitude?

This is actually a more valid formula than the OP's, since at least it involves valid arithmetical notation.

I DON'T add ANYTHING up.
1,6726 * 10-27 кг * 13,53 эВ : 2,485 * 10-19 Дж = 9,1095 * 10-31 кг
I'm multiplying
1,6726 * 10-27 кг * 13,53 эВ = 22,630278
And I share
22,630278 : 2,485 * 10-19 Дж = 9,10675

And there 's SOMETHING to it !!!

9.1090 * (3 * 1.618)=44.22

44.22 is not the same as 6.673 or 6.626.

Also, 6.626 does not equal 6.673.
