the problem with social darwinism is that it is easy to abuse. most get uncomfortable with this line of reasoning as it opens up a bunch of other shit.

I think that the society we live is very much social darwinistic and cruel and what is social Darwinism if not a form of oppression of the weak or poor members of society?

Capitalism in itself is an oppressive socioeconomic system.

The fact is that people are very self-centered and selfish nowadays, thinking only about themselves and their own wellbeing.

Many people, including me are still living in extreme poverty, having nothing to eat and not even a comfortable home to sleep in and that's entirely because of Capitalism.

I don't even know where my next meal will come from and in a couple of months I could end up homeless or even in jail because I shoplifted and I all because my physical situation does not allow me to get myself out of poverty and homelessness.

Sometimes I wonder why my mom didn’t swallow me. Or why of all the sperm, it was mine that reached the egg. Life tells me I’m a loser. Women tell me I’m not worth a damn. So why didn’t I lose the raсe to the egg? I should have been just swallowed.

No. Survival of the fittest works when resources are limited.
Social interaction is not a limited resource.
Other people having a rich social life does not deprive you of having as rich a social life as you desire.

The only limit on the richness of your social life is your attitude.
