The head is upside down in the cockpit by the way :D
It does shoot spit balls from those cannons though lol
 
Btw Enmos Just downloaded your Wasp creature as a kind of test to see how to import. eventually got it working after mucking about following someone else's method that was Completely wrong!.

I made a little animated Gif from him too....

(btw, if you start trying to make animated Gifs you'll have to try posing them first otherwise they just sit down and stand up. Seems there isn't much control over what they actually do during creating one.)
 
gee people...this is a beta...and you are already whining on how you cant control them to move like you want to...

Draq, it wasn't a whine, it was a fact there is no control over how the Animated Gif's come out.

If you didn't know, SPORE is now officially released and available for purchase.

So far I've bumped into Enmos's Wasp (It as an Epic Creature with 1000 health, and HUGE!) I also nearly got eaten by my own Treeture which was an Epic creature too and killed about 4 creatures around it's trunk.

So far I've been playing but I haven't reached the Civilization stage (A mixture of trying to evolve enough and keep having a few niggly crashes due to my GFX card)

I wonder if it will run under Wine in Linux? Has there been any discussion about that? The game looks like it would be fun.
 
Spore is probably the worst game i have played in years. Which kinda blows because i was anticipating this game since they announced it in 05. They didn't give you what they promised. In the main game your almost forced to use certain add-ons when you find them because they give you better skills. What they should have done is made it so that you could still evolve without having to use mount parts, or feet ect that you find. I was one of those freaks that went to walmart at 1am yesterday to get it. To my surprise it sucked. It's great for a little kid... but it is far from "in depth" or "complex" Also another great surprise is the presence of MALWARE on the DVD. It has a security feature called "SecuROM" In a nutshell, it basically means that once you install it 3 times the DVD will not install anymore. So when you buy the game it's more like RENTING it. Stay away, i was very angry that this came out so badly... I'm not the only though. If you want to see other reviews that back-up my opinion go to gamespot.com
