Yes. Since the conversation, such as it is, has sunk to a level where certain people have lost the ability to discuss the topic and who now appear to be more concerned about making personal slights against people who disagree with them than in thinking rationally about the topic, I have decided to close this thread.

A more constructive discussion of related topics might theoretically be possible, but probably not any discussion that involves these particular participants.
