I don't know if this will help or not, but a friend of mine made a good point by saying that it's unlikely the moon launch was a hoax because we were racing against the cosmonauts to get there first. If our mission were a hoax I'm sure the cosmonauts would have known, from their own tracking equipment, that we hadn't made it and they would have continued the race to get there first.

the reason why the 5000 didn't know
Scince there were 5000 people working on the moon landings u couldn't have them all doing the same thing. So u gave them one thing each to do. And scince they didnt see the whole picture they were just in the dark as the rest of us. Except the few that was overseeing it. You try and find the overall leaders of the moon landings there ethier dead retired or just dont exsit anymore.

There is lots of evidence that the moon landing was fake, but no proof. The evidence can be refuted. I've seen the evidence, and I've seen it shot down. The moon landing was real.

I think your right i think they did go to the moon but why would all this evidnce of a fake landing be poping up then, the only reason i can think they are allowing people to post stuff about the fake is because they went there and found somthing they didn't want ur average joe to see

what are the fake evidence you people are talking about? do you mean those pictures and discurses like "the universe has many stars but the sky shown on the picture of the moon is black with no lightsd of stars"? these things already have explanations, if anyone wants i can look for the link.

What I love is when somebody does not believe in something that we do have a lot of modern, well documented evidence for. But then they DO believe in something old and much more tenuously documented (like a religion or astrology or some such).
Now the modern event with all the evidence could indeed be false, and the ancient word of mouth event could indeed be true . . . but its much easier to go with overwhelming probability when it comes to uncertaintys.

Well- I know this is an old argument....
but as a veteran Skylab worker at the Cape when Apollos were still flying- I always have to point out:
We sent 9 missions to the moon, with 6 landings.
Do you think if it were fake that those in charge would have risked being 'found out' that many times?
We sent 24 men to the moon- 12 orbited and 12 walked on it.
(Sadly, 5 are now dead) Some of them were (and are) friends of mine. You may think all astronauts are cut from the same 'right stuff' mold- but trust me, they are all very strong individual characters who love to speak their mind. 24 guys like that would NOT keep quiet about any 'funny business.'
And a personal note- I pity all who have never witnessed a Saturn V launch live..... if you had, you'd have no doubt that those guys were GOING!

If you have ever seen a rocket go up from the Cape, you have little doubt that we are sending up people and materials. We didn't always have an ISS. I have always enjoyed the rains that follow a launch.
And terrible in its beauty is a rocket that is detonated because it went awry. To see the horizon lit from the detonation is something. In the first years of launching all did not go as planned...

As for the lack of stars in the moon shots, it's because of the bright reflected light on the moon. Same as some shots of Earth from space don't show stars. The photgraph must be suited to the amount of light to have an atcual image, and fainter lights such as stars are washed out.
