Male Armpit Hair? Sexy or non?

Is there any reason in particular that some armpits sweat more than others? Could it be more hair means more sweat?

Sweaty doesn't necessarily mean smelly though. I think I sweat more than average, but it is the harmless odourless sweat. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I used to do a lot of exercise. And during exercise I would sweat easily.

Or maybe some people just have different bacteria growing on their skin, some of which are more prone to produce odours.
 
well i can deffinately say that when my armpits were shaven, it was a lot more hygenic and clean no doubt about that, less armpit hair does mean less sweat, and more importantly less "material" to trap the sweat, and stale, old sweat is what causes odour.
 
The smell comes from bacteria,has nothing to do with sweat itself,hair can make it worse but only if you dont wash,just stay clean.

armpit hair is disgusting.

I prefer if a boyfriend of mine to shave his armpits, for the closeness and smell good feeling of it. lol.

Have you guys seen those gorgeous surfers or lifeguards (usually on baywatch. ha) that never have any hairs. No armpit hair or chest hairs. A little chest hair is okay but arm pit hair makes one stinkier because of the little hairs. ew.

A bit of hair is one thing, but if a guy has what appears to be a ferret growing in his arm pit? Then get the tweezers our and pluck some of those suckers out:D ... sure it'd cause pain but it would also provide we girlies with much amusement. Plus it would also give guys some idea of what it feels like when we pluck our eyebrows and wax the bikini line.

But as for guy's armpits with skin hairless and baby bottom smooth? Errrrrr no.. some hair (as I said before) is ok. If it was hairless, it'd be like a pre-teen's armpit.

ok...what about women's armpits. I've seen a few ladies with armpit hair, and I'm not going to lie but I find it quite erotic (I know i'm going to get vilified for this comment), I mean Julia Roberts, sean Young and Emma Thompson (to name a few) don't seem to mind;)

Male Armpit Hair?

.. I can't say it's sexy, but for god's sake don't shave it. That's just weird if you ask me, unless you're a body builder and then I understand.... you're just weird all around :)

Here's the deal if you have an OUTRAGEOUS amount of hair there, just trim it with some scissors, don't go overboard though. Otherwise, let it be. You do know, that if you shave your underarm hair, when it grows back it'll be a a giant HUGE bush of massive hair.

PS: If you're a girl, pls shave it, just thought I should toss that in :)
 
i like hair on men. I like the scruffy look with it at least a bit long. i like hair on chest and body and arms and i guess armpits and stomach etc. It feles nice to touch. I also like the bit unshaved face- feels nice too.

I raised the issue re female armpit hair on another forum recently and most men there said it wasnt a turn off at all.
 
I cant say i find male armpit hair sexy but its better than it being shaved, unless your a competitive swimmer etc...
 
I think a little armpit hair is sexy because it is natural.
Somebody had mentioned that shaved armpits look gay.
Actually nowdays it is just the opposite.
Gay men are trying harder than ever to look masculine that it is hard to tell heterosexual apart from ( closeted gay men ).
I went to a gay club and all the gay guys were ripped and full of body hair, it was the creepiest thing i think i've ecer seen. There isn't a gay look anymore unless your a drag queen.
 
I trim the armpits real close. I trim the chest hairs, especially the white ones and the ones around my nipples. I Shave my ass, crutch and balls, I trim the rest of it. And, I shave my head.

NO I am not gay, I do it for hygienic and sensual reasons plus it makes me feel more 'groomed'.
 
I think a man can trim the hair in his armpits but not shave it all off, that looks too feminine in my view.
 
I'm a woman(23) personally, I'm only sexually attracted to men who have hairy arpits.

I'm a woman aged 23, men who have hairy armpits, lots of pubic hair, hairy legs can arouse my sexual desires, I'm talking those men who are handsome and young. As for those men with shaven bodies, they look exactly like bald roosters to me, they turn me off. Yes, men who don't have armpit hair look so very gay to me !!!

yeah sorry. For me its got nothing to do with gayness. Its a vanity thing. I would never be attracted to a guy who shaved his pubic region. Porn stars do that so their 'equipment' is more noticeable.

My husband is naturally fairly hairless (not completely) so I don't think I'd even notice if a guy shaved his pits, chest, etc. But the pubic region, that's.....no.

There may be a practical reason for that: sinuously sinfully, slippery slipstream SEX.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!!! Men who shave are undoubtedly gay, my boyfriend must have hair on the pits, legs, and pubic hair of course.
